M. l'Empereur a invité les principales Puiffances de l'Europe fur les affaires de France. 2) Qu'elles fe porteront à leur requifition respective, fecours et affiftance réciproque, au cas que la tranquil lité interne de l'un ou de l'autre de leurs Etats fut. menacé de troubles. 23) Qu'elles conviendront, et inviteront la Cour Impériale de Ruffie de convenir avec elles, qu'elles n'entreprendront rien pour altérer l'intégriré et le maintien d'une libre Conftitution de la Pologne, qu'elles ne chercheront jamais à placer un Prince de leur maifon fur le thrône de Pologne, ni par un mariage avec, la Princeffe Infante, ni dans le cas d'une nouvelle élection, et n'employeront point leur influence pour déterminer la choix de la Rép. dans l'un ou l'autre cas, en faveur d'un autre Prince, hors d'un concert mutuel entre Elles. Les fusdites parties contractantes, fidèles à ces engagemens préalables, promettent et s'obligent à les remplir de part et d'autre, pour autant que les cas fuppo fuppofés dans les points de ftipulation énoncés ci-deffus fe trouveront réalifés par les circonftances, en fe refervant de fe concerter ultérieurement fur leur accompliffement le plus convenable, tant entre elles, qu'avec d'autres Cours principalement intereffées dans l'un ou l'autre des fusdits objets. Under the aufpices of the greateft, the moft powerful of all the Princes of the Ottoman nation who reign upon the earth, our moft glorious and moft auguft Emperor, who commands the two lands and the two feas, Selim Kan, the victorious, fon of the Sultan Moustapha whole realm may God profper until the end of ages, the fupport of Kings, the feal of Juftice, the Emperor of Emperors. The most illuftrious and moft magnificent Prince, Hamouda Pacha Bey, who commands the Odgiak of Tugis, the abode of happiness, and the most honored Ibrahim Dey, and Soliman aga of the Janiaries, and chief of the Divan, and all the elders of the Odgiak; and the moft diftinguished and honored Prefident of the Congrefs of the United States of America, the moft diftinguished among thofe who profefs the religion of the Meffiah, of whom may the end be happy.
