VII. ་ 4 His Highness the Paifhwah Row Pundit Purdhan Behauder, fhall be invited to accede to the prefent treaty; and although the faid Paifhwah Row Pundit Purdhan Behauder, has neither participated in the expense or dan-ger of the late war, and therefore is not entitled to share any part of the acquifitions made by the contracting parties, (namely, the English East India Company Behauder, and his Highness the Nabob Nizam ud Dowlah Afoph Jah Behauder) yet for the maintenance of the relations of friendship and alliance between the faid Paifhwah Row Pundit Purdhan Behauder, the English Eaft India Company Behauder, his Highness the Nabob Nizam ud Dowlah Afoph Jah Behauder, and Maha Rajah Myfore Kishna Rajah Behauders it is flipulated and agreed, that certain diftriots, specified in schedule D. hereuntos annexed; fhall be reserved for the purpose of -being eventually ceded to the faid Paifhwah Row Pundit Purdhan. Behauder in full right and fovereignty, in the fame manner as if he had been a contraffing party to this treaty, provided, however, that the faid Paifhwah Row Pundit Burdhan Behauder [hall accede to the present treaty, in its full extent, within one month from the day on which it Thall be formally communicated to him by the contracting parties; and provided also, that he shall give fatisfaction to the English Eaft India Company Behauder, and to his Highnes the Nabo Nizam ud Dowlah Afoph to certain points now ah Behauder, with regard depending between him the faid Paifhwah Row Pundit Purdhan Behauder, and the faid Nabob Nizam ud Dorlah Afoph Jah Behauder, and alfo with regard to fuch points as fhall Be reprefented to the faid Paifhwah, on the part of the English Eaft India Company Behauder "by the Governor General, or the Englifh Refident at the Court of Poonah. 3 ART. Prod mo If, contrary to the amicable expectation of the contrading parties, the said Paifhwah Row Pundit Purdhán refufe to Behauder fhall accede to this treaty, or to give fatisfaction upon the points to which the feventh article refers, them the right to any fovereignty of the feveral diftris herein-before refevved for eventual ceffion to the Paifhwah Row Pundit Purdhan Behauder, shall reft jointly in the faid English East India Company Behauder, and Part ce shwah. Anglaife des Indes Orientales et à fa Hauteffe le Nabob Nizam ud Dowlah Afoph Jah Behauder par rapport à certains points actuellement en litige entre lui, le dit Paifhwah Row Pundit Purdhan Behauder et le dit Nabob Nizam ud Dowlah Afoph Jah Behauder; et de même par rapport aux points qui feront reprefentés au dit Paifhwah de la part de la Comp. Anglaife des Indes Orientales par le Gouverneur Général ou par le refident Anglais à la Cour de Poonah.. ART.
