1. What are the words used in the Original to express this change of mind and feeling?

(A) Merapéλopal, to change one's care, to be concerned about something of the past, to rue, to regret, to change one's intended course. From μετά, in compo sition frequently signifies to change, and péλw, to care. Occurs six times:

went not.

MATT. xxi. 29, 32.

28 But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard. 29 He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. 30 And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and 31 Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. LUKE XV. 7, 10.

LUKE xvi. 30.

ACTS ii. 38.

REV. iii. 3, 19. 3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
