The earliest of Franklin Imprints and of the utmost rarity. It was printed when Franklin was an apprentice to his brother, who published it under Benjamin's name to avoid law suits for libel. The using his name in this manner formed the basis of Dr. Franklin freeing himself from his apprenticeship. Very few libraries possess more than one or two scattering numbers of the paper, and this copy which is No. 80, is one of the earliest numbers I have ever seen. Inserted is a bill to Thos. Penn, dated 1733, for printing, in the hand of Benjamin
