Sida 1 - Popery was the master-piece of Satan. I believe him utterly incapable of such another contrivance. It was a systematic and infallible plan for forming manacles and mufflers for the human mind. It was formed to overwhelm — to enchant — to sit as " the great whore, making the earth drunk with her fornications.

Sida 20 - Be it known and without doubt unto you, that we all are, and every one of us, obedient and subjects to the church of God, and to the pope of Rome, and to every godly Christian, to love every one in his degree in perfect charity, and to help every one of them by word and deed to...
Sida 22 - King seized on all the temporalities, and granted a licence for an election, with a special recommendation of the person; which being returned, the royal assent was given, and it was sent to Rome, that bulls might be expedited, and then the Bishop elect was consecrated : after that, he came to the King, and renounced every clause in his bulls that was contrary to the King's prerogative, or to the law, and swore fealty; and then were the temporalities restored.
