17 And I will a come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone.
18 And say thou unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow, and ye shall eat flesh for ye have wept in the ears of the LORD, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt: therefore the LORD will give you flesh, and ye shall eat. 19 Ye shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days, nor twenty days;
20 f But even at whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it be loathsome unto you : because that ye have despised the LORD which is among you, and have wept before him, saying, Why came we forth out of Egypt? 21 And Moses said. The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand footmen; and thou hast said, I will give them flesh, that they may eat a whole month.
22 Shall the flocks and the herds be slain for them, to suffice them? or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to suffice them?
23 And the LORD said unto Moses, * Is the LORD's hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not.
24 And Moses went out, and told the people the words of the LORD, and ga thered the seventy men of the elders of the people, and set them round about the Stabernacle.
25 And the LORD came down in 9a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and 10 did not cease 10.
26 But there remained two of the men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad: and the spirit rested upon them; and they were of them that were written, but went not out unto the tabernacle : and they prophesied in the camp.
27 And there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp.
28 And Joshua the son of Nun, 11 the servant of Moses, one of his young men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them.
29 And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake would God that all the LORD's people were prophets, and that the LORD would put his spirit upon them!
30 And Moses gat him into the camp, he and the elders of Israel.
31 And there went forth a wind from the LORD, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall 12 by the camp, tas it were a day's journey on this side, and as it were a day's journey on the other side, round about the camp, and 13 as it were two cubits high upon 13 the face of the earth.

Israel, whereby they murmur against rail; and ye shall serve: I have given
8 And the LORD spake unto Aaron,
9 This shall be thine of the most holy things, reserved from the fire: every obla tion of their's, every meat offering of their's, and every 'sin offering of their's, and every trespass offering of their's, which they shall render unto me, shall be most holy for thee and for thy sons. 10 In the most holy place I shalt thou eat it; every male shall eat it: it shall be holy unto thee.
11 And 12 this is thine; the heave of fering of their gift, with 13 all the wave offerings of the children of Israel: have given them unto thee, and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, 10 by a statute for ever 10: every one that is clean in thy house shall eat of it.
12 All the best of the oil, and all the best of the wine, and of the wheat, the firstfruits of them which they shall offer unto the LORD, them have I given thee.

2 And thy brethren also of the tribe of Levi, the tribe of thy father, 2 bring thou 3 with thee, that they may be 3 joined unto thee, and minister unto thee: 4 but thou and thy sons with thee shall minister before the 5tabernacle of witness 5.
3 And they shall keep thy charge, and f the charge of all the 6 tabernacle: 7 only they shall not come nigh the vessels of the sanctuary and the altar, that neither they, nor ye also, die.
4 And they shall be joined unto thee, and keep the charge of the 7 tabernacle of the congregation 7, for all the service of the 6 tabernacle : and a stranger shall not come nigh unto you.
5 And ye shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar: that there be no wrath any more upon the children of Israel.
6 And I, behold, I have taken your brethren the Levites from among the children of Israel: "to you they are given as a gift for the LORD, to do the service of the 7 tabernacle of the congregation 7.

19 All the heave offerings of the things, which the children of Israel 17 offer unto the LORD, have I given thee, and thy sons and thy daughters with thee, 10 by a statute for ever10: Pit is a covenant of salt for ever before the LORD unto thee and to thy seed with thee.
20 And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I am thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel. 21 And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the 7 tabernacle of the congregation 7.
