ART. I. Sa Majesté le Roi de la Grande-Bretagne et Accesd'Hanovre accédé à toutes les ftipulations du traité de Lion, Vienne du 25 Mars 1815 tel qu'il fe trouve inféré ciaprès, fauf les modifications arrêtés d'un commun accord par l'article III. de la préfente Convention.

à même de fournir en Sa qualité de Roi d'Hanovre, cations, étant limité en partie par le nombre de troupes, qui fe trouvent déjà actuellement réunies à l'Armée Angloife aux Pays-bas, favoir Seize mille quatre cents hommes, fans compter la Légion Allemande, Sa Majefté le Roi d'Hannovre s'engage à augmenter le dit Corps de Dixmille hommes, dont Sept cent cinquante de Cavalerie, Neuf mille foixante dix d'Infanterie et cent quatre vingt d'Artillerie, de manière, que le corps Hanovrien, employé contre l'ennemi commun montera, exclufivement de la Légion Allemande à Vingt fix mille quatre cents hommes, comprenant deux mille cent cinquante de Cavalerie, quatre cent d'Artillerie, et vingt trois mille buit cent cinquante d'Infanterie.

Regent of the Kingdoms of Portugal and the Brazils,

animated by the defire of uniting Their efforts to fecure 1815 the tranquillity of Europe against all attempts by which under the prefent circumstances it may be threatened, and His Royal Highnefs the Prince Regent of the Kingdoms of Portugal and the Brazils, having refolved to this ef fect, and in confequence of the invitation made to Him by Their Majefties the King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, the Emperor of Auftria, the Emperor of all the Ruffias, and the King of Pruffia, to accede to the Treaty of Alliance concluded on the 25th of March last, have named, in order to regulate every thing which may concern this object;

His Majefty the King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, the Right Honourable Richard Le Poer Trench, Earl of Clancarty etc. (voyés les titres pag. 124.), and His Royal Highnefs the Prince Regent of the Kingdoms of Portugal and the Brazils, the Most Illuftriofes and Excellent Dom Peter de Soufa Holftein, Count of Palmella etc. (voyés les titres des. 3 miniftres plus haut pag. 93); who, having exchanged their full powers, found in good and due, form, have agreed upon the following Articles:

His Royal Highness the Prince Regent of Acces the Kingdoms of Portugal and the Brazils, accedes to fion all the ftipulations of the Treaty of Vienna of the twentyfifth of March, one thoufand eight hundred and fifteen, as hereafter inferted, with the exception of the modifications mutually agreed to by the Third Article of the prefent Convention.

1815 zils engages to furnish, conformably to the Treaty of the twenty-fifth of March laft, fhall, confift of thirty thousand men, of which three thousand at least shall be cavalry, and twenty-feven thousand infantry, without including the garrifons, with a juft proportion of artillery and ammunition.
