Flis Majesty the King of Wartemberg having, by a Treaty signed at Vieoda on the 30th. of May 1815, ace ceded to the Treaty of General Alliapce, signed at the same place on the 25th, of March laft, by the Plenipo. : teptiarios of Great Britain, Austria, Russia and Prudia, and havi ig engaged to employ in the field a contingent of 20,000 men, one-tenth of which Thall be cavalry, with artillery in proportion; aod His Royal Highpels ; the Prince Regent, acting in the name and on the be. half of His Majefty the King of Great Britain and Ire. ART. I. His Britannick Majesty engages to pay to His Majesty the King of Wurtemberg a subidy of II 1. 2 f. per man, for the service of the year ending on the ist, of April 1816, to the dumber of 20,000 men': this fubsidy shall be paind in London at the end of each month, by monthly instalmepts, to the perfon daly authorised to receive the same on the part of His Mas jesty the King of Wurtemberg, and the first payment

is to be made upon the exchange of the ratifications of 1815 this Treaty.

In case Peace should take place or be ligned between the Allied Powers and France before the expiration of the said year, the subsidy shall be paid up to the end of the month in which the definitive Treaty shall have been figoed, apd His Britaonick Majesty promises, in addition, to pay to His Majesty the King of Wurtem. berg, ihe fablidy of one month, to cover the expenses of the return of His Majesty's troops within his own frontiers.

ART. II. The Minister of His Majesty King of Wur. temberg in London, shall concert with the officers to be appointed by His Britapoick Majesty, as to the mode most convenient for the transmiffion of the money for the use of His Majesty the King of Wurtemberg.

ART. III. His Royal Highness the Prince Regent, acting in the name and on the behalf of His Majesty the King of Great Britain, and Ireland, shall commis. fion an officer to the head-quarters of His Majefty the King of Wurtemberg, in order to report the military operations, and this officer shall be permitted to ascertain that the contingent of His Majesty is kept complete.

ART. IV. This Treaty shall be ratified, and the ratifications shall be exchanged in London as soon as possible.

In faith of which, the respective Plenipotentiaries have sigoed it, and have affixed thereupto the seals of their arms."

the Treaty of General Alliance figned at the same place
on the 25th. March last, by the Plenipotentiaries of
Great Britain, Auftria, Russia, and Prussia, and having

engaged to employ in the field a contingent of 60,000 o men, one - tenth of which shall be cavalry, with artil

lery in proportion; and His Royal Highness the Prince Regent, acting in the pame and on the behalf of His Majesty the King of Great Britain and Ireland, being defirods, as far as may be in His power, to assist the King of Bavaria, in order to enable His Majesty to make the exertions to carry into execution His enga. gements, has named the Duke of Wellington, etc, etc.; and His Majesty the Kiog of Bavaria has named Colopel Washington, in order to discuss and settle the terms on which the said affistance shall be given; who, having communicated their respective full powers, have agreed to the following Articles; ..

ART. I. His Britannick Majesty engages to pay to His Majesty the King of Bavaria a Subsidy of ill. 2 f. per man, for the service of the year ending on the ift. of April 1816, to the number of 60,000 men; this Subsidy shall be paid in London at the end of each month by monthly instalmente, to the person duly authorised to receive the fame on the part of His Bavarian Majesty, 'and the first payment is to be made upon the exchange of the ratifications of this Treaty.

His Royal Highness the Prince Regent, acting in the name and on the behalf of His Majesty the King of Great Britain and Ireland, shall Commisfion an Officer to the head-quarters of His Bavarian Majesty, in order to report the military operations ; and this Officer Thall be permitted to ascertain that

the contingent of His Bayarian Majesty is kept com- plete.
