dry bones. 32 Not for your fakes, do I this, faith to the wind, Thus ith the Lord God, the Lord Gon, be it known unto you: Come from the four winds, O breath, and De afhamed and confounded for your own breathe upon these flain, that they may ways, O houfe of Ifrael. live.

33 Thus faith the Lord GoD, In the day that I fhall have cleanfed you from all your iniquities, I will alfo caufe you to dwell in the cities, and the waftes fhall be builded.

34 And the defolate land fhall be tilled, whereas it lay defolate in the fight of all hat paffed by.

35 And they fhall fay, This land that was defolate is become like the garden of Eden, and the wafte, and defolate, and ruined cities are become fenced, and are nhabited.

36 Then the heathen that are left round bout you, fhall know that I the LORD uild the ruined places, and plant that hat was defolate: I the LORD have fpoken it, and I will do it.

37 Thus faith the Lord GOD, I will yet For this be enquired of by the houfe of If ael, to do it for them, I will increafe hem with men like a flock.

=38 As the holy flock, as the flock of Je rufalem in her folemn feafts, fo fhall the vafte cities be filled with flocks of men, nd they fhall know that I am the LORD. CHAP. XXXVII.

He hand of the LORD was upon me,

he LORD, and fet me down in the midft f the valley, which was full of bones, 22 And cauled me to pafs by them round bout, and behold, there were very many n the open valley, and lo, they were vey dry.

3 And he faid unto me, Son of man, on thefe bones live? and I answered, O ord GoD, thou knoweft.

4 Again he faid unto me, Prophefie upn these bones, and fay unto them, O ye ry bones, hear the word of the LORD.

Thus faith the Lord GOD unto these ones, Behold, I will caufe breath to ener into you, and ye fhall live.

6 And I will lay finews upon you, and vill bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye fhall live, and ye shall know that am the LORD.

7 So I prophefied as I was commanded: nd as I prophefied there was a noife, and ehold a fhaking, and the bones came to gether bone to his bone.

8 And when I beheld, lo the finews and he flesh came up upon them, and the skin overed them above, but there was no breath in them.

9 Then faid he unto me, Prophefie unto he wind, prophefie, fon of man, and fay

10 So I prophefied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived and food up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

II Then he faid unto me,Son of man, thefe bones are the whole houfe of Ifrael: behold, they fay, Our bones are dried, and our hope is loft, we are cut off for our parts.

12 Therefore prophefie and fay unto them, Thus faith the Lord God, Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and caufe you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Ifrael.

13 And ye fhall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,

14 And thall put my fpirit in you, and ye fhall live, and I fhall place you in your own land: then fhall ye know that I the LORD have fpoken it, and performed it, faith the LORD.

16 Moreover, thou fon of man, take thee one ftick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Ifrael his com

19 Say unto them, Thus faith the Lord Goo, Behold, I will take the ftick of Joseph which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Ifrael his fellows, and will pur them with him, even with the tick of Judah, and make them one flick, and they all be one in mine hand.

CHAP. XXXVIII.

Nd the word of the LORD came un-
to me, faying,

2 Son of man, fet thy face againft Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Methech and Tubal and prophe fie against him, 3 And fay, Thus faith the Lord Gop, Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Methech and Tubal.

4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy chaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horfes and horfemen, all of them cloathed with all forts of armour even a great company with bucklers, and fields all of them handling fwords.

s Perfia Ethiopia,and Libya with them, all of them with fhield and helmet:

13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the m chants of Tarthith, with all the young ons thereof, fhall fay unto thee, Art th come to take a spoil? haft thou gathed thy company to take a prey? to cany way filver and gold, to take away cal and goods, to take a great fpoil?

14 Therefore, fon of many prophie and fay unto Gog, Thus faith the Lod GOD, in that day when my people of Ital dwelleth fafely, fhalt thou not know

15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north-parts, thou and many po ple with thee, all of them riding gran horfes, a great company, and a mighty army.

16 And thou shalt come up again ay people of Ifrael,as a cloud to cover the las it fhall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the ha then may know me, when I shall be ful fied in thee, O Gog, before their eye

17 Thus faith the Lord God, Artu he of whom I have spoken in old timely my fervants the prophets of Ifrael, with prophefied in those days many years, the I would bring thee against them?

18 And it fhall come to pafs at the fant time, when Gog fhall come against the land of Ifrael, faith the Lord God, tha my fury thall come up in my face,

CHAP. XXXIX. Herefore thou fon of man, prophefie against Gog, and fay, Thus faith Lord GOD, Behold, I am against thee, Gog, the chief prince of Methech, and bal. 2 And I will turn thee back, and leave t-the fixth part of thee, and will caufe e to come up from the north parts, and bring thee upon the mountains of If

And I will fmite thy bow out of thy hand, and will caufe thine arrows to out of thy right hand.

Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of ael, thou and all thy bands, and the peothat is with thee: I will give thee unthe ravenous birds of every fort, and to beafts of the field to be devoured. Thou shalt fall upon the open field, for ve fpoken it, faith the Lord GOD. And I will fend a fireon Magog, and ang them that dwell carelefly in the ifles, I they fhall know that I am the LORD. 11 And it fhall come to pafs in that , that I will give unto Gog a place

12 And feven months fhall the house of Ifrael be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land.

13 Yea, all the people of the land shaft bury them, and it shall be to them a renown, the day that I shall be glorified, faith the Lord GOD.

14 And they fhall fever out men of continual imployment, paffing through the land to bury with the paffengers thofe that remain upon the face of the earth to cleanfe it: after the end of feven months fhall they fearch.

15 And the paffengers that pass through the land, when any feeth a mans bone, then fhall he fet up a fign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamon-gog.

16 And alfo the name of the city shall be Hamonah: thus fhall they cleanfe the land.

17 And thou fon of man, Thus faith the Lord Gon, Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beaft of the field, Affemble your felves, and come, gather your felves on every fide to my facrifice that I do facrifice for you, even a great facrifice upon the mountains of Krael, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.

18 Ye fhall eat the flea of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fa:Ings of Bahan.

19 And ye fhall eat fat till ye be full and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my lacrifice which I have facrificed for you.

20 Thus ye shall be filled at my table, with horfes and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, faith the Lord Gon.

21 And I will fet my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen fhall fee my and that I have laid upon them judgment that I have executed, and my

22 So the house of Ifrael fhall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward.

23 And the heathen fhall know that the houfe of Ifrael went into captivity for their iniquity: becaufe they trefpaffed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies, fo fell they all by the fword.

24 According to their uncleanness, and according to their tranfgreffions have done unto them, and hid my face f them,

25 Therefore thus faith the Lord God, Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole houfe of Ifrael, and will be jealous for my holy name:

26 After that they have born their fhame, and all their trefpaffes whereby they have trefpaffed againft me, when they dwelt fafely in their land, and none made them.afisid.

27 When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies lands, and am fanctified in them in the fight of many nations;

28 Then fhall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caufed them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.

29 Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my (pirit upon the house of Ifrael, faith the Lord GOD.

our captivity,in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was fmitten, in the felf-fame day the hand of the LORD was upon me, and brought me thither.

2 In the vifions of God brought he me into the land of Ifrael, and fet me upon a very high mountain, by which was as the frame of a city on the fouth.

3 And he brought me thither, and behold there was a man whofe appearance was like the appearance of brafs, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed, and he ftood in the gate.

4 And the man faid unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and fet thine heart upon all that I fhall fhew thee, for to the intent that I might Thew them unto thee, art thou brought hither: declare all that thou feeft to the house of Ifrael.

s And behold, a wall on the out fide of the houfe round about, and in the mans hand a mealuring reed of fix cubits long, by the cubit, and an hand-breadth: fo he meafured the breadth of the building, one reed, and the height one reed.

6 Then came he unto the gate which looketh toward the eaft, and went up the ftairs thereof, and meafured the threshold of the gate which was one reed broad, and the other threshold of the gate, which was one reed broad.

The four gates defcribed. 8 He meafured alfo the porch of the gate within, one reed.

9 Then measured he the porch of the gate, eight cubits, and the pofts thereof two cubits, and the porch of the gate wa inward.

10 And the little chambers of the gate eaft-ward, were three on this fide, and three on that fide, they three were of one meafure, and the pofts had one meature on this fide and on that fide,

II And he measured the breadth of the entry of the gate ten cubits, and the length of the gate thirteen cubits.

12 The space alfo before the little cham bers was one cubit on this fide, and the fpace was one cubit on that fide, and the little chambers were fix cubits on this fide, and fix cubits on that fide.

13 He measured then the gate from the roof of one little chamber to the roof of another: the breadth was five and twen ty cubits, door againft door.

14 He made alfo pofts of threefcore a bits, even unto the poft of the court round about the gate.

15 And from the face of the gate of the entrance, unto the face of the porch of th inner gate, were fifty cubits

16 And there were narrow windows the little chambers,and to their pofts with in the gate round about, and likewise the arches and windows were round bout inward: and upon each poft win palm-trees.

17 Then brought be me into the out ward court, and lo, there were chamber, and a pavement made for the court round about: thirty chambers were upon the pavement.

18 And the pavement by the fide of th gates over againft the length of the gad was the lower pavement.

19 Then he measured the breadth fro the forefront of the lower gate, unto th forefront of the inner court witho an hundred cubits eaft-ward and nort ward...

20 And the gate of the outward co that looked toward the north, he mea red the length thereof and the breadth thereof.

21 And the little chambers thereof wint three on this fide, and three on that de and the pofts thereof, and the arch thereof were after the meature of th firft gate: the length thereof was bi cubits, and the breadth five and twen cubits.

And every little chamber was one reed, 22 And their windows, and their and one reed broad, and between ches, and their palm-trees, were after the e chambers were five cubits, and meature of the gate that looketh to hold of the gate, by the porch of wards the east, and they went up unt within was one reed,

25 And there were windows in it,and in the arches thereof round about, like thofe windows; the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits,

26 And there were feven fteps to go up to it, and the arches thereof were before them, and it had palm-trees, one on this fide, and another on that fide upon the pofts thereof.

527 And there was a gate in the inner court toward the fouth, and he measured from gate to gate toward the fouth an hundred cubits.

38 And the chambers, and the entries thereof were by the pofts of the gates, where they washed the burnt offering.

39 And in the porch of the gate were two tables on this fide, and two tables on that fide, to flay thereon the burnt offering, and the fin-offering, and the trefpafsoffering.915180

40 And at the fide without, as one goeth up to the entry of the north gate, were two tables, and on the other fide, which was at the porch of the gate were two tables.

41 Four tables were on this fide,and four tables on that fide, by the fide of the gate, eight tables whereupon they flew their facrifices.

33 And the little chambers thereof, and the posts thereof, and the arches thereof were according to these meatures, and there were windows therein, and in the arches thereof round about, it was fifty cubits long, and five and twenty cubits broads wat

96 The little chambers thereof,the pofts thereof, and the arches thereof, and the windows to it round about the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits,

46 And the chamber whole prospect is toward the north, is for the priests the keepers of the charge of the altar: thefe are the fons of Zadok among the fons of Levi, which come near to the LORD, to minister unto him.

47 So he measured the court, an hundred cubits long, and an hundred cubits broad, fourfquare, and the altar that was before the house.

48 And he brought me to the porch of the houfe, and measured each poft of the porch, five cubits on this fide, and five cubits on that fide: and the breadth of the gate was three cubits on this fide, and three cubits on that fide. os 49 The length of the porch was twenty cubits, and the breadth eleven cubits, and he brought me by the steps whereby they went up to it: and there were pillars by the pofts, one on this fide, and another on that fide.
