Sida 9 - ... that no human authority can, in any case whatever, control or interfere with the rights of conscience ; and that no preference shall ever be given by law to any religious establishment or modes of worship.
Sida 9 - All power is inherent in the people, and all free governments are founded on their authority and instituted for their peace, safety and happiness.
Sida 11 - SECTION 1. The supreme executive power of this state shall be vested in a chief magistrate, who shall be styled the Governor of the State of California.
Sida 11 - The powers of the government of the State of Alabama shall be divided into three distinct departments; and each of them confided to a separate body of magistracy to wit, those which are legislative, to one; those which are executive to another, and those which are judicial to another.

Sida 18 - Laws shall be made to exclude from office, serving on juries, and from the right of suffrage, those who shall hereafter be convicted of bribery, perjury, forgery, or other high crimes. The privilege of free suffrage shall be supported by laws regulating elections, and prohibiting, under adequate penalties, all undue influence thereon, from power, bribery, tumult, or other improper practice.
Sida 11 - No person, or collection of persons, being of one of those d/epartments, shall exercise any power properly belonging to either of the others, except in the instances hereinafter expressly directed or permitted.
Sida 11 - The governor shall be commander-in-chief of the militia, the army and navy of this state. SEC. 6. He shall transact all executive business with the officers of government, civil and military, and may require information in writing from the officers of the executive department, upon any subject relating to the duties of their respective offices.
Sida 9 - That all courts shall be open, and every person, for an injury done him in his lands, goods, person, or reputation, shall have remedy by the due course of law, and right and justice administered without denial or delay.
Sida 11 - The returns of every election for Governor shall be sealed up and transmitted to the seat of government, directed to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, who shall, during the first week of the session, open and publish them in the presence of both Houses of the General Assembly.
