42 Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember, and I will remember the land.

43 The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her Sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity because, even because they despised my Judgments, and because their soul abhorred my Statutes.

44 And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God.

45 But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt, in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am the LORD.

46 These are the Statutes, and Judg. ments, and Laws which the LORD made between him and the children of Israel, in mount Sinai, by the hand of Moses.

CHAP. XXVII.

8 But if he be poorer than thy estima. tion, then he shall present himself before the Priest, and the Priest shall value him: according to his ability that vowed, shul the Priest value him.

9 And if it be a beast whereof men bring an offering unto the LORD, all that any man giveth of such unto the LORD, shall be holy.

10 He shall not alter it, nor change a good for a bad, or a bad for a good : and if he shall at all change beast for beast, then it, and the exchange thereof shall be holy.

11 And if it be any unclean beast, of which they do not offer a sacrifice unto the LORD, then he shall present the beast before the Priest:

12 And the Priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad: as thou valuest it who art the Priest: so shall it be.

13 But if he will at all redeem it, then he shall add a fifth part thereof unto thy esümation.

14 And when a man shall sanctify his house to be holy unto the LORD, then the Priest shall estimate it, whether it be good or bad as the Priest shall estimate it, so shall it stand.

15 And if he that sanctified it, will redeem his house, then he shall add the

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons shall be for the LORD, by thy estimation.

3 And thy estimation shall be: Of the male from twenty years old, even unto sixty years old: even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the Sanctuary.

4 And if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels.

5 And if it be from five years old, even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

6 And if it be from a month old, even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male, five shekels of silver, and for the female, thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver.

7 And if it be from sixty years old, and

16 And if a man shall sanctify unto the LORD some part of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof. A homer of barley seed shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver.

17 If he sanctify his field from the year of Jubilee, according to thy estimation it shall stand.

18 But if he sanctify his field after the Jubilee, then the Priest shall reckon unto him the money, according to the years that remain, even unto the year of the Jubilee, and it shall be abated from thy estimation.

19 And if he that sanctified the field, will in any wise redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured to him.

20 And if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more

in the Jubilee, shall be holy unto the LORD, as a field devoted: the possession thereof shall be the Priest's.

22 And if a man sanctify unto the LORD a field which he hath bought, which is not of the fields of his possession:

23 Then the Priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation, even unto the year of the Jubilee, and he shall give thine estimation in that day, as a holy thing unto the LORD.

24 In the year of the Jubilce, the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land did belong.

25 And all thy estimations shall be ac. cording to the shekel of the Sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.

26 Only the firstling of the beasts which should be the LORD'S firstling, no man shall sanctify it, whether it be ox, or sheep: it is the LORD'S.

27 And if it be of an unclean beast, then he shall redeem it according to thine estimation, and shall add a fifth part of it thereto or if it be not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to thy estimation.

29 None devoted, which shall be devoted of men, shal. be redeemned: but shall surely be put to death.

30 And all the tithe of the land, whe ther of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD'S: it is holy unto the LORD.

31 And if a man will at all redeem aught of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof.

32 And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the LORD.

33 He shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he change it at all, then both it, and the change thereof, shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.

34 These are the Commandments which the LORD commanded Moses, for the children of Israel in mount Sinai.

46 Even all they, that were numbered, were six hundred thousand, and three thousand, and five hundred and fifty.

47 But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers, were not numbered among them.

48 For the LORD had spoken unto Moses, saying,

49 Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel.

50 But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the Tabernacle of Testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the Tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof, and they shall minister unto it, and shall encamp round about the Tabernacle.

The order of the Tribes in their tents. ND the LORD spake unto Moses, and unto Aaron, saying,

2 Every man of the children of Israel shall pitch by his own standard, with the ensign of their father's house: far off about the Tabernacle of the Congre gation shall they pitch.

3 And on the east side toward the rising of the sun, shall they of the standard of the camp of Judah pitch, throughout their armies: and Nahshon the son of Amminadab, shall be captain of the children of Judah.

4 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were threescore and fourteen thousand, and six hundred.

5 And those that do pitch next unto him, shall be the tribe of Issachar : and Nethaneel the son of Zuar, shall be captain of the children of Issachar. 6 And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and four thousand, and four hundred.

7 Then the tribe of Zebulon and Eliab the son of Helon, shall be captain of the children of Zebulon.

8 And his host and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and seven thousand, and four hundred.

9 All that were numbered in the Camp of Judah, were a hundred thousand, and fourscore thousand, and six thousand, and four hundred, throughout their armies: these shall first set forth. 10 On the southside shall be the standard of the Camp of Reuben, according to their armies: and the captain of the children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.

52 And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, throughout their hosts.

53 But the Levites shall pitch round about the Tabernacle of Testimony, that there be no wrath upon the Congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the Tabernacle of Testimony.

54 And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.

12 And those which pitch by him, shall be the tribe of Simeon, and the captain of the children of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

13 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and nine thousand, and three hundred.

14 Then the tribe of Gad: and the captain of the sons of Gad shall be Eliasaph the son of Reuel.

15 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and five thousand, and six hundred and fifty.

16 All that were numbered in the camp of Reuben were a hundred thou

sand, and fifty and one thousand, and four hundred and fifty throughout their armies and they shall set forth in the second rank.

17 Then the Tabernacle of the Congregation shall set forward with the camp of the Levites, in the midst of the camp as they encamp, so shall they set forward, every man in his place by their standards.

18On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim, according to their armies: and the captain of the sons of Ephraim, shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud.

19 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty thousand and five hundred.

20 And by him shall be the tribe of Manasseh: and the captain of the chil. dren of Manasseh, shall be Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.

21 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were thirty and two thousand, and two hundred.

22 Then the tribe of Benjamin: and the captain of the sons of Benjamin, shall be Abidan the son of Gideoni. 23 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were thirty and five thousand, and four hundred.

24 All that were numbered of the camp of Ephraim, were a hundred thousand, and eight thousand, and a hundred, throughout their armies: and they shall go forward in the third rank. 25 The standard of the camp of Dan shall be on the northside by their armics and the captain of the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer, the son of Ammishaddai.

26 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were threescore and two thousand, and seven hundred.

27 And those that encamp by him, shall be the tribe of Asher: and the captain of the children of Asher, shall be Pagiel the son of Ocran.

28 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and one thousand, and five hundred.

29 Then the tribe of Naphtali: and the captain of the children of Naphtali, hall be Ahira the son of Enan.

30 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and three thousand, and four hundred.

31 All they that were numbered in the camp of Dan, were a hundred thousand,

32 T These are those which were numbered of the children of Israel, by the house of their fathers; all those that were numbered of the camps throughout their hosts, were six hundred thousand, and three thousand, and five hundred and fifty.

33 But the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel, as the LORD commanded Moses.

34 And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD com. manded Moses: so they pitched by their standards, and so they set forward every one after their families, according to the house of their fathers.

CHAP. III.
The sons of Aaron.

THESE also are the generations of and Moses, in the day that

the LORD spake with Moses in Mount Sinai.

2 And these are the names of the sons of Aaron: Nadab the first born, and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

3 These are the names of the sons of Aaron the Priests, which were anointed, whom he consecrated to minister in the Priest's office.

4 And Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD, when they offered strange fire before the LORD in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children: and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the Priest's office in the sight of Aaron their father.

And the LORD spake unto Mo. ses, saying,

6 Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the Priest, that they may minister unto him.

7 And they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole Congregation before the Tabernacle of the Congrega. tion, to do the service of the Tabernacle. 8 And they shall keep all the instru ments of the Tabernacle of the Congre gation, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do the service of the Ta. bernacle.

9 And thou shalt give the Levites unto Aaron and to his sons: they are wholly given unto him out of the children of Israel.

10 And thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall wait on their
