Sida 339 - Hats., 125, 126.] [The President having taken the chair, and a quorum being present, the journal of the preceding day shall be read, to the end that any mistake may be corrected that shall have been made in the entries.
Sida 345 - After a motion is stated by the Speaker, or read by the Clerk, it shall be deemed to be in possession of the House, but may be withdrawn at any time before a decision or amendment.

Sida 343 - When any member is about to speak in debate, or deliver any matter to the House, he shall rise from his seat, and respectfully address himself to "Mr. Speaker," and shall confine himself to the question under debate, and avoid personality.
Sida 346 - No member shall vote on any question in the event of which he is immediately and particularly interested ; or in any case where he was not present •when the question was put.
Sida 210 - The affairs of said company shall be managed by a board of directors, consisting of thirteen members as hereinafter provided ; all vacancies happening in said board may be filled by the remaining directors for the remainder of the year for which they were elected, and a majority of the whole shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business.
Sida 339 - No member shall speak to another, or otherwise interrupt the business of the Senate, or read any newspaper, while the journals or public papers are reading, or when any member is speaking in any debate.
Sida 340 - If a Member be called to order for words spoken, the exceptionable words shall be immediately taken down in writing that the President may be better enabled to judge of the matter.
