CONSOLIDATORS' NOTE TO TEXT OF LIEN LAW.

The Lien Law contains all provisions of the law as enacted with amendments to date except Art. 9 relating to the conditional sale of goods which has been transferred to the personal property law.

Code Civil Procedure, Ch. 14, Tit. 2, Art. 2, providing for the enforcement of liens on personal property; ch. 23, tit. 3 & 4 providing, respectively, for the enforcement of liens on real property and on vessels bave been consolidated in this law.

To the Schedule of repeals has been added the Statutes relating to liens either because heretofore repealed or because recommended for repeal as inactive, obsolete or superseded.
