On motion of Senator Hutt, the Senate went into executive session at 11:45 A. M., and at 1:25 P. M. the Senate resumed its regular session.

Senator Cottey moved that when the Senate adjourn it adjourn until 3 o'clock P. M.; which was agreed to.

The Senate met pursuant to adjournment.

The President announced that all other business would be suspended, and directed the Secretary to read at length House bill No. 555, entitled "An act authorizing the formation of a police relief association in any city having over one hundred thausand inhabitants," and that unless objections be made he would sign the same, to the end that it may become a law. The bill was read at length by the Secretary; no objection being made and the presiding officer, in the presence of the Senate, in open session, no other business intervening, signed said bill; said bill was also signed by the Secretary.

Senator Lloyd moved to reconsider the vote by which Senate bill No, 150 passed this morning, which motion was lost by the following vote:

AYES-Senators Bryant, Byrns, Cottey, Dungan, Heard, Hutt, Lloyd, Morrisson, Naylor, Perkins and Rogers-11.
