Amendment No. 2. Amend the second section by inserting the words "in the county jail," after the words "one year," in the twelfth line.

Strike out the fourth section.

Amend the title of the act by adding thereto the following words: "and manufacture and sale of articles of im- . moral uses."

PRESIDENT: Your Committee on Ways and Means to whom was referred House bill No. 670, entitled "An act to amend article 8 of chapter 145 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri of 1879, by adding a new section thereto, concerning the assessment and taxation of railroads," beg leave to report that they have considered the same and report it to the Senate, and ask to be discharged from further consideration of the subject.

House bill No. 670 was taken up, and Senator Edwards of St. Charles moved to commit the bill to the Committee on Banks and Corporations.
