REPORTS. The following reports are taken from the St. Louis daily press, and are supposed to be correct: BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS. The Commissioner of Public Buildings has prepared the following report for the year 1881: The imports of St. Louis, through the custom house, have been larger in the past year than in 1883. The foreign value of the imports in 1883 was $2,392,808, and the duties $922,252.72; the foreign value for 1884 was $2,572,452, and the duties $913,661.13; an increase of $179,644 in foreign value, and $21,408.41 in duties.
