Abraham Burn- Prayer by the Moderator. Messrs. Church, Fairbank, and Burnham were appointed Committee of Overtures. Their report was accepted, Wednesday morning, 9 o'clock, was assigned for the narratives of the state of religion in the churches; and Messrs. Church, Hatch, Nye, Fairbank, "Towne, and Sabine were appointed a Committee to prepare from them the usual Report to the Association. [Appendix No. 1.] Afternoon. Rev. Mr. Church produced a copy of the Digest of the Records of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church, presented, by that body, to this General Association. |
