6 And Solomon faid, Thou haft fhewed unto thy fervant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth and in righteoufnefs, and in uprightness of heart with thee, and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou haft given him a fon to fit on his throne, as it is this day.

Ut Solomon was building his own houfe till 992. thirteen years, and he finished all Chap.9.10. his house.

2 He built also the house of the foreft of Lebanon ; the length thereof was a hundred cubits, and the breadth thereof fifty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits, upon four rows of cedar-pillars, with cedar-beams upon the pillars.

10 And the foundation was of coftly stones, even great ftones; ftones of ten cubits, and ftones of eight cubits.

11 And above were coftly ftones (after the measures of hewed ftones) and cedars.

12 And the great court round about, was with three rows of hewed ftones, and a row of cedar-beams, both for the inner court of the house of the LORD, and for the porch of the house.
