A Nd the LORD fpake unto Mofes, and unto Aaron, faying, 2 Take the fum of the fons of Kohath from among the fons of Levi, after their families, by the house of their fathers; a 3 From thirty years old and upward, even until fifty years old, all that enter into the hoft, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation. 4 This hall be the service of the fons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation, about the most holy things. 5 And when the camp fetteth forward, Aaron fhall come and his fons, and they shall Exod. 26. 31. take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of teftimony with it: 6 And fhall put thereon the covering of badgers skins, and fhall spread over it a cloth Exod. 25.13. II ¶ And the LORD fpake unto Moses, faying, 12 Speak unto the children of Ifrael, and fay unto them, If any mans wife go afide, and commit a trefpafs against him, 13 And a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept clofe, and the be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither the be taken with the manner 14 And the spirit of jealoufie come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and the be defiled; or if the spirit of jealoufie come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and the be not defiled: 15 Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barleymeal; he fhall pour no oyl upon it, nor put frankincense thereon, for it is an offering of jealoufie, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance. 16 And the priest shall bring her near, and fet her before the LORD. Zech. 8. 13. k 28 And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and fhall conceive feed. 29 This is the law of jealoufies, when a wife goeth afide to another in stead of her husband, and is defiled; 30 Or when the spirit of jealoufie cometh upon him, and he be jealous over his wife, and fhall fet the woman before the LORD, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law. 31 Then fhall the man be guiltlefs from iniquity, and this woman fhall bear her iniquity. CHAP.
