I have for various reasons adopted the Statute and the Rules as the basis of my little work, instead of attempting to frame an independent practice.

I think that no greater mistake can be committed, than to make the existing practice of the Court of Chancery the foundation of the practice of the County Courts, - merely weaving the New Buleis of the County Court into that practice.
