Esq., of St. J ohn's College, Cambridge, Rector of Tydde in Cambridgeshire, Vicar of Gresford in Den bighshire, consecrated Bishop of Bangor 25th January 1585, translated to Chester 25th J une 1595, and dying in 1596 aged 54 was buried at Wrexham, where a menu ment was erected to his memory by his brother Cuthbert Bellot, b.d., Archdeacon of Chester.
