Wales. In Dr. Bufby there is a very great
Inftance fhewn to Merit. In the Church
Wardens' Accounts of St. Margaret's, Weft-
minster in 1618, are inferted the follow-
ing Articles. In 1618, To Richard Buf-
by, by Confent of Vestry, towards ena-
bling him to proceed B. A. v; and in
1631, To Richard Busby a King's Scho-
lar at Westminster, towards enabling him
to proceed A. M. at Oxford, by Con-
fent of Vestry £vi. XIII. III. In 1638,
he became Head Mafter of Weftminster
School, where he continued to the Year
1695; and Prebendary of Westminster July
5, 1660, and Treasurer of Wells, August 11
following. Dr. Bufby died April 5, 1695,
and was buried in the Abbey.
