12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.

13 In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.

2 Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, a Job 20. 6. thence will I bring them down:

CHAPTER IV.

1 Jonah, repining at God's mercy, 4 is reproved by the type of a gourd. UT it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was very angry. 2 And he prayed unto the LORD, and said, I pray thee, O LORD, was not this my saying, when I was yet before unto Tarshish: for I knew in my country? Therefore I a fed that thou art a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil.
