38 And the golden altar, and the anointing oil, and the fweet incenfe, and the hanging for the tabernacle door,

39 The brafen altar, and his grate of brafs, his ftaves, and all his veffels, the laver and his foot,

40 The hangings of the court, his pillars, and his fockets, and the hanging for the court gate, his cords, and his pins, and all the veffels of the fervice of the tabernacle, for the tent of the congregation,

41 The cloths of service to do fervice in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and his fons' garments, to minifter in the priest's office.

42 According to all that the LORD commanded Mofes, fo the children of Jfrael made all the work.

43 And Mofes did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the LORD had commanded, even so had they done it and Mofes bleffed them. CHAP. XL.

ND the LORD fpake unto Mofes,
faying,

2 On the first day of the firft month halt thou fet up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.

3 And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with 'the vail.

4 And thou shalt bring in the table, and fet in order the things that are to be fet in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.

5 And thou shalt fet the altar of gold for the incenfe before the ark of the teftimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle.

6 And thou shalt fet the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the ta

12 And thou shalt bring Aaron and his fons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.

13 And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and fanctify him; that he may minifter unto me in the prieft's office.

14 And thou shalt bring his fons, and clothe them with coats:

15 And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didft anoint their father, that they may minifter unto me in the priest's office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlafting priesthood throughout their ge

nerations.

16 Thus did Mofes : according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he.

17 And it came to pafs in the first month in the fecond year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.

18 And Mofes reared up the tabernacle, and faftened his fockets, and set up the boards thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up his pillars.

19 And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as the LORD com. manded Moses.

20 And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy feat above upon the ark:

21 And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and fet up the vail of the covering, and covered the ark of the teftimony; as the LORD commanded Mofes.

22 And he put the table in the tent of the congregation, upon the fide of the tabernacle northward, without the vail.

23 And he fet the bread in order upon it before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses.

LEVITICUS.

The burnt offering. meat offering; as the LORD commanded | the congregation, and the glory of the Moses. LORD filled the tabernacle.

30 And he fet the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wath withal. 31 And Mofes and Aaron and his fons washed their hands and their feet thereat: 32 When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they wafhed; as the LORD commanded Mofes.

33 And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and fet up the hanging of the court gate. So Mofes finished the work.

34 Then a cloud covered the tent of

35 And Mofes was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

36 And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Ifrael went onward in all their journeys: 37 But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.

38 For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the fight of all the house of Ifrael, throughout all their journeys.

CHAP. I.

CALLED LEVITICUS.

AND the LORD called unto Mofes, and fpake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, faying,

2 T Speak unto the children of Ifrael, and fay unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the LORD, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd, and of the flock.

31 If his offering be a burnt facrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish he fhall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.

4 And he fhall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it fhall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.

5 And he fhall kill the bullock before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron's fons, fhall bring the blood, and fprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

6 And he fhall flay the burnt offering, and cut it into pieces.

7 And the fons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay the wood in order upon the fire.

8 And the priests, Aaron's fons, fhall lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar.

9 But his inwards and his legs fhall he wash in water and the priest shall burn all on the alar, to be a burnt sacrifice, an

14 And if the burnt facrifice for his offering to the LORD be of fowls, then he fhall bring his offering of turtle doves, or of young pigeons.

15 And the priest fhall bring it unto the altar, and wring off his head, and burn it on the altar; and the blood thereof thall be wrung out at the fide of the altar:

16 And he shall pluck away his crop with his feathers, and caft it befide the altar on the east part, by the place of the afhes:

17 And he shall cleave it with the wings thereof, but fhall not divide it afunder: and the priest fhall burn it upon the altar, upon the wood that is upon the fire: it is a burnt facrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet favour unto the LORD. CHAP. II.

16 And the priest shall burn the memorial of it, part of the beaten corn thereof, and part of the oil thereof, with all the frankincenfe thereof: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD. CHAP. III.

3 And the remnant of the meat offering fhall be Aaron's and his fons': it is a peace offering, if he offer it of the thing moft holy of the offerings of the herd; whether it be a male or female, he LORD made by fire. fhall offer it without blemish before the LORD.

4 And if thou bring an oblation of a meat offering baken in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.

5 And if thy oblation be a meat offering baken in a pan, it fhall be of fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil.

6 Thou shalt part it in pieces, and pour oil thereon: it is a meat offering.

7 And if thy oblation be a meat offering baken in the fryingpan, it fhall be made of fine flour with oil.

8 And thou shalt bring the meat offering that is made of thefe things unto the LORD and when it is prefented unto the priest, he fhall bring it unto the altar.

2 And he fhall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation and Aaron's fons the priests shall fprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.

13 And every oblation of thy meat of fering fhalt thou season with salt; neither fhalt thou fuffer the falt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meat offering: with all thine offerings thou fhalt offer falt.

7 ¶ If he offer a lamb for his offering, then fhall he offer it before the LORD.

8 And he fhall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation and Aaron's fons fhall fprinkle the blood thereof round about upon the altar.

9 And he shall offer of the facrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat thereof, and the whole rump, it fhall he take off hard by the backbone; and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

13 And if the whole congregation of Ifrael fin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the affembly, and they have done fomewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which fhould not be done, and are guilty;

14 When the fin, which they have finned against it, is known, then the con

8 And he fhall take off from it all the fat of the bullock for the fin offering; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

9 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away,

19 And he fhall take all his fat from him, and burn it upon the altar.

20 And he fhall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a fin offering, fo fhall he do with this: and the priest fhall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.

71 And he shall carry forth the bullock without the camp, and burn him as he burned the firft bullock: it is a fin offering for the congregation.

22 ¶ When a ruler hath finned, and done fomewhat through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD his God concerning things which should not be done, and is guilty;

23 Or if his fin, wherein he hath finned, come to his knowledge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish:

24 And

25 And the priest fhall take of the

and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and fhall pour out his blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt offering.

26 And he fhall burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the facrifice of peace offerings: and the priest fhall make an atonement for him as concerning his fin, and it fhall be forgiven him.

27 And if any one of the common people fin through ignorance, while he doeth fomewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;

28 Or if his fin, which he hath finned, come to his knowledge: then he fhall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his fin which he hath finned.

29 And he fhall lay his hand upon the head of the fin offering, and flay the fin offering in the place of the burnt offering.

30 And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt of fering, and fhall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar.

31 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the facrifice of peace offerings; and the priest fhall burn it upon the altar for a fweet favour unto the LORD; and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and it fhall be forgiven him.

32 And if he bring a lamb for a fin offering, he fhall bring it a female without blemish.

33 And he fhall lay his hand upon the head of the fin offering, and flay it for a fin offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering.

34 And the prieft fhall take of the blood of the fin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and fhall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar:

35 And he fhall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the facrifice of the peace offering; and the prieft fhall burn them i upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD and the prieft fhall make an atonement for his fin that he bath committed, and it fhall be forgiven him,

Of him that concealeth his knowledge in touching of an unclean thing, 4 or in making an oath. 14 The trefpafs offering in facrilege, 17 and in fins of ignorance. AND if a foul fin, and hear the voice

of fwearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he fhall bear his iniquity.

2 Or if a foul touch any unclean thing, whether it be a carcafe of an unclean beaft, or a carcafe of unclean cattle, or the carcafe of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden from him; he also fhall be unclean, and guilty.

3 Or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever uncleannefs it be that a man fhall be defiled withal, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he fhall be guilty.

4 ¶ Or if a foul fwear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatfoever it be that a man fhall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he fhall be guilty in one of these.

5 And it fhall be, when he fhall be guilty in one of these things, that he fhall confefs that he hath finned in that thing:

6 And he shall bring his trefpafs offering unto the LORD for his fin which he hath finned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a fin offering; and the priest fhall make an atonement for him concerning his fin.

7 And if he be not able to bring a lamb, then he fhall bring for his trefpals, which he hath committed, two turtle doves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a fin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.

8 And he fhall bring them unto the prieft, who fhall offer that which is for the fin offering firft, and wring off his head from his neck, but shall not divide it asunder:

9 And he shall sprinkle of the blood of the fin offering upon the fide of the altar; and the reft of the blood fhall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: it is a fin offering.

10 And he fhall offer the fecond for a burnt offering, according to the manner : and the priest shall make an atonement for him for his fin which he hath finned, and it fhall be forgiven him.

II But if he be not able to bring two turtle doves, or two young pigeons, then he that finned fhall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a fin offering; he fhall put no oil upon it, neither fhall he put any frank
