The trefpafs offering

LEVITICUS.

incenfe thereon: for it is a fin offering. 12 Then shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest fhall take his handful of it, even a memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: it is a fin offering.

13 And the priest fhall make an atonement for him as touching his fin that he hath finned in one of thefe, and it fhall be forgiven him : and the remnant shall be the priest's, as a meat offering.

14 ¶ And the LORD fpake unto Mofes, faying,

for fins done quittingly. keep, or the loft thing which he found, 5 Or all that about which he hath fworn falfely; he fhall even restore it in the principal, and fhall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his trefpafs offering.

6 And he fhall bring his trefpafs offering unto the LORD, a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy eftimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest:

7 And the priest fhall make an atonement for him before the LORD: and it fhall be forgiven him for any thing of all that he hath done in trefpaffing therein.

17 ¶ And if a foul fin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he wift it not, yet is he guilty, and fhall bear his iniquity.

18 And he fhall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy eftimation, for a trefpals offering, unto the prieft: and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance wherein he erred and wift it not, and it fhall be forgiven him.

19 It is a trefpafs offering: he hath certainly trespassed against the LORD. CHAP. VI.

9 Command Aaron and his fons, faying, This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar fhall be burning in it.

10 And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen breeches fhall he put upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the fire hath confumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.

II And he fhall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the afhes without the camp unto a clean place.

12 And the fire upon the altar fhall be burning in it; it fhall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he fhall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.

13 The fire thall ever be burning upon. the altar; it fhall never go out.

14 And this is the law of the meat of

16 And the remainder thereof shall Aaron and his fons eat: with unleavened bread fhall it be eaten in the holy place; in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation they shall eat it.

17 It fhall not be baken with leaven. I have given it unto them for their portion of my offerings made by fire; it is moft holy, as is the fin offering, and as the trefpafs offering.

21 In a pan it fhall be made with oil; and when it is baken, thou shalt bring it in and the baken pieces of the meat| offering fhalt thou offer for a sweet faYour unto the LORD.

22 And the priest of his fons that is anointed in his ftead fhall offer it: it is a statute for ever unto the LORD; it shall be wholly burnt.

23 For every meat offering for the priest hall be wholly burnt: it shall not be eaten. 24 And the LORD fpake unto Mofes, faying,

25 Speak unto Aaron and to his fons, faying, This is the law of the fin offering: In the place where the burnt offering is killed fhall the fin offering be killed before the LORD: it is most holy.

26 The priest that offereth it for fin fhall eat it in the holy place fhall it be eaten, in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation. kyle

27 Whatsoever fhall touch the flesh thereof shall be holy and when there is fprinkled of the blood thereof upon any garment, thou shalt wash that whereon it was sprinkled in the holy place.

28 But the earthen veffel wherein it is fodden fhall be broken: and if it be fodden in a brafen pot, it fhall be both fcoured, and rinsed in water.

29 All the males among the priests shall eat thereof: it is most holy.

30 And no fin offering, whereof any of the blood is brought into the tabernacle of the congregation to reconcile withal in the holy place, thall be eaten: it fhall be burnt in the fire.

4 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the caul that is above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away :

5 And the priest fhall burn them upon the altar for an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a trespass offering.

6 Every male among the priests fhall eat thereof: it shall be eaten in the holy place: it is moft holy.

7 As the fin offering is, fo is the trefpafs offering: there is one law for them: the prieft that maketh atonement there' with shall have it.

8 And the priest that offereth any man's burnt offering, even the priest shall have to himself the skin of the burnt offering which he hath offered.

9 And all the meat offering that is baken in the oven, and all that is dreffed in the frying pan, and in the pan, shall be the priest's that offereth it.

ro And every meat offering, mingled with oil, and dry, fhall all the fons of Aaron have, one as much as another.

Ir ¶ And this is the law of the facrifice of peace offerings, which he shall offer unto the LORD.

12 If he offer it for a thanksgiving, then he fhall offer with the facrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and cakes mingled with oil, of fine flour, fried.

13 Befides the cakes, he fhall offer for his offering leavened bread with the facrifice of thanksgiving of his peace offerings.

14 And of it he fhall offer one out of the whole oblation for an heave offering unto the LORD, and it fhall be the priest's that fprinkleth the blood of the peace offerings.

15 And the flesh of the facrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving fhall be eaten the fame day that it is offered; he fhall not leave any of it until the morning.

16 But if the facrifice of his offering be a vow, or a voluntary offering, it fhall be eaten the fame day that he offereth his facrifice: and on the morrow also the remainder of it shall be eaten :

17 But the remainder of the flesh of the facrifice on the third day shall be

burnt with fire.

18 And if any of the flesh of the facrifice of his peace offerings be eaten at all on the third day, it fhall not be accepted, neither fhall it be imputed unto him that offereth it: it fhall be an abomination,

25 For whofoever eateth the fat of the beaft, of which men offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, even the foul that eateth it shall be cut off from his people.

26 Moreover ye fhall eat no manner of blood, whether it be of fowl or of beaft, in any of your dwellings.

27 Whatfoever foul it be that eateth any manner of blood, even that foul fhall be cut off from his people.

28 And the LORD fpake unto Mofes, faying,

29 Speak unto the children of Ifrael, faying, He that offereth a facrifice of his peace offerings unto the LORD fhall bring his oblation unto the LORD of the facrifice of his peace offerings.

30 His own hands fhall bring the offerings of the LORD made by fire, the fat with the breaft, it fhall he bring, that the breaft may be waved for a wave offering before the LORD.

31 And the priest fhall burn the fat upon the altar: but the breaft fhall be Aaron's and his fons'.

32 And the right shoulder shall ye give unto the prieft for an heave offering of the facrifices of your peace offerings.

33 He among the fons of Aaron, that offereth the blood of the peace offerings, and the fat, fhall have the right fhoulder ..for his part.

34 For the wave breaft and the heave fhoulder have I taken of the children of Ifrael from off the facrifices of their peace

37 This is the law of the burnt offering, of the meat offering, and of the fin offering, and of the trefpafs offering, and of the confecrations, and of the facrifice of the peace offerings;

38 Which the LORD commanded Mofes in mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Ifrael to offer their oblations unto the LORD, in the wildernefs of Sinai.

ND the LORD fpake unto Mofes,
faying,

2 Take Aaron and his fons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and a bullock for the fin offering, and two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread;

3 And gather thou all the congregation together unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

4 And Mofes did as the LORD COMmanded him; and the affembly was gathered together unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

5 And Mofes faid unto the congregation, This is the thing which the LORD commanded to be done.

6 And Mofes brought Aaron and his fons, and wathed them with water.

7 And he put upon him the coat, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod upon him, and he girded him with the curious girdle of the ephod, and bound it unto him therewith.

8 And he put the breaftplate upon him: alfo he put in the breaftplate the Urim and the Thummim.

9 And he put the mitre upon his head; alfo upon the mitre, even upon his forefront, did he put the golden plate, the holy crown; as the LORD commanded Mofes

10 And Mofes took the anointing oil,

ir And he fprinkled thereof upon the altar feven times, and anointed the altar and all his veffels, both the laver and his foot, to fanctify them.

Iz And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron's head, and anointed him, to fanctify him.

13 And Mofes brought Aaron's fons, and put coats upon them, and girded them with girdles, and put bonnets upon them; as the LORD commanded Mofes. 14 T And he brought the bullock for the fin offering: and Aaron and his fons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock for the fin offering.

15 And he flew it; and Mofes took the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured the blood at the bottom of the altar, and fanctified it, to make reconciliation upon it.

16 And he took all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the caul above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and Mofes burned it upon the altar.

17 But the bullock, and his hide, his flesh, and his dung, he burnt with fire without the camp; as the LORD commanded Mofes.

18 And he brought the ram for the burnt offering: and Aaron and his fons laid their hands upon the head of the

26 And out of the basket of unleavvened bread, that was before the LORD, he took one unleavened cake, and a cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, and put them on the fat, and upon the right fhoulder:

27 And he put all upon Aaron's hands, and upon his fons' hands, and waved them for a wave offering before the Lord.

28 And Mofes took them from off their hands, and burnt them on the altar upon the burnt offering: they were confecrations for a fweet favour: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

29 And Mofes took the breaft, and waved it for a wave offering before the LORD: for of the ram of confecration it was Mofes' part; as the LORD commanded Mofes.

30 And Mofes took of the anointing oil, and of the blood which was upon the altar, and fprinkled it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his fons, and upon his fons' garments with him; and fanctified Aaron, and his garments, and his fons, and his fons' garments with him.

24 And he brought Aaron's fons, and Mofes put of the blood upon the tip of their right ear, and upon the thumbs of their right hands, and upon the great toes of their right feet: and Mofes fprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.

25 And he took the fat, and the rump,

34 As he hath done this day, so the LORD hath commanded to do, to make an atonement for you.

35 Therefore fhall ye abide at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night feven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, that ye die not: for fo I am commanded.

36 So Aaron and his fons did all things which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses:

22¶ And Aaron lifted up his hand to ward the people, and bleffed them, and came down from offering of the fin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings.

6 And Mofes faid unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his fons, Uncover not your heads, neither rend your clothes; left ye die, and left wrath come upon all the people: but let your brethren, the whole houfe of Ifrael, be wail the burning which the LORD hath kindled.
