Works of the Lord, furely I will remember thy Wonders of old; I will meditate alfo of all thy Works, and talk of thy Doings. Thy Way, O God, is in the Sanctuary: Who is fo great a God as our God?

O Lord of Hofts, how amiable are thy Tabernacles? my Soul longeth, (e) yea, even fainteth for the Courts of the Lord; my Heart and my Flesh cry out for the living God. How bleffed are they that dwell in thy Houfe? who are ftill praifing thee: How bleffed is the Man whofe Strength is in thee, and in whofe Heart are thy Ways? O Lord God of Hofts, hear my Prayer. Thou, O Lord, wilt forgive the INIQUITY of thy People, and wilt cover (i) all their SINS. Turn me, O God of my Salvation, and caufe thine Anger towards me to ceafe: O Lord, fhew me thy Mercy, and grant me thy Salvation. I will hear what thou, O Lord God,

* There is a Token for Good, or of Deliverance to the Righteous, as Exod. xII. 13. The Blood shall be to you for a Token upon the Houses;

and the Plague shall not be upon you to destroy you. See Ifa. vII. 14, 16. There are alfo Tokens of Evil to the Wicked, as Pfalm 1.xv. 8. They also that dwell in the uttermoft Parts are afraid of thy Tokens. See Luke xx1. 25,26,28. where the fame Signs are Tokens of Evil to the Wicked, and of Deliverance to the Righteous.

A Prayer in Extremity of Trouble, or bodily Infirmity, with a Profeffion of Confidence in the Mercy of God.

born of a Woman, is of few Days, (a) Job XIV. 1,2,3. Man that is and full of Trouble: He cometh forth like a FLOWER, and is cut and continueth not. And doft thou down; he fleeth alfo as a SHADOW, open thine Eyes upon fuch an one, and bringeft me into JUDGMENT with thee? Chap. v1.4. The Arrows of the Almighty are within me, the Poifon whereof drinketh up my Spirit; the Terrors of God do fet themselves in array against

LORD God of my SALVATION, I have cried Day and Night before thee. Let my PRAYER come before thee; incline thine Ear unto my CRY: For my Soul is full of Troubles, and my Life draws near unto the Grave.
