The report shall contain: information concerning the nature of such exposure; a statement identifying each substance for which no effluent, ambient, or exposure standard has been established, or for each standard established by a federal agency, the extent to which such standard decreases the risk to public health from exposure to the substance; and a description of each request from an agency outside the Department of Health and Human Services or from a departmental entity to conduct research into the carcinogenicity of substances. Abstract: The fourth Annual Report on Carcinogens will include the 117 entries in the third report as well as information on additional substances, chemicals, or manufacturing processes. The annual report shall include a description of the Institute's activities: (1) under the current Arthritis Plan prepared under the National Arthritis Act of 1974, (2) under the current diabetes plan prepared under the National Diabetes Mellitus Research and Education Act, and (3) under the current digestive diseases plan prepared under the Arthritis, Diabetes, and Digestive Diseases Amendments of 1976. Abstract: This report provides a description of the National Institute of Health's activities in the previous fiscal year. Requirement: The Secretary of Health and Human Services shall submit an annual report to the Congress on the status and accomplishments of the runaway houses which are funded under the Runaway Youth Act. Abstract: This report is to include information on: 1) their effectiveness in alleviating the problems of runaway youth; 2) their ability to reunite children with their families and to encourage the resolution of intra-family problems through counseling and other services; 3) their effectiveness in strengthening family relationships and encouraging stable relationships for children; and 4) their effectiveness in helping youth decide upon a future course of action.

Requirement: The Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services shall publish summaries of the results of activities carried out under the Head Start Program not later than 90 days after the completion of the evaluation and research studies. He shall submit copies of all such summaries to the appropriate committees of the Congress.
