Art. 8. Immédiatement après la signature de la présente capitulation, l'armée assiégeante fera occuper par un demi-bataillon la demilune et la partie de la courtine du front de la ville.

Art. 9. Dans le plus court délai possible les commandans d'artillerie et du génie remettront aux chefs des dits corps de l'armée française les armes, munitions, plans, etc., etc., relatifs aux services dont ils sont respectivement chargés.

Il sera dressé de part et d'autre inventaire des objets remis.

Fait au quartier-général sous Anvers, le 23. Décembre 1832.

Article Additionnel.

La flotille de douze canonnières, stationnée devant Anvers, sous les ordres de M. le colonel Koopman, n'est pas comprise dans la présente capitulation.

Considering the proximity of this Island Dominions of His Majesty the King of the Two and the constant traffic carried on between the and that it is desirable to establish this Trad the principle of reciprocity, His Excellency the nant-Governor is pleased hereby to enact and d I. II. That such Additional Tonnage Dutie other charges shall also be levied on Vessels belo to Subjects of His said Majesty, when coming as aforesaid, as shall countervail (and no more difference of Tonnage Duties and other charges, over and above those to which such Vessels are in the Dominions of His said Majesty, may be imposed on British Vessels. Provided alway nothing herein contained be construed to depriv Vessels belonging to Subjects of His Sicilian M of the right of exemption in the cases specified first and second Articles of Exceptions, annex the Tariff (B.) of Tonnage Duties, dated the December, 1832.

authorized to be levied on the following articles in 1833 pursuance of the Proclamation dated the 8th of December, 1832, shall not be enforced upon importations in Vessels belonging to Subjects of His Majesty the King of the Two Sicilies, when laden in and coming direct from those Dominions, namely:

IV. That Additional Duties shall be levied upon any goods laden at any Port or Place in the Dominions of His Majesty the King of the Two Sicilies, and imported into this Island for consumption, in Vessels belonging to Subjects of His said Majesty, whenever, upon the exportation of similar goods in British Vessels, from any Port or Place in the Dominions aforesaid, higher Duties are levied, or smaller Drawbacks or Bounties granted, than are levied or granted when such goods are exported in Vessels belonging to Subjects of His said Majesty; but such Additional Duties are not to be greater in amount than may countervail the difference so resulting.

V. These Enactments are to take effect from the 25th day of February next inclusive.

Février de cette anne de l'Ere Chrétienne (23 de la Lune de Ra an de l'Hégire 1248) par le Baron Françoi tenfels Gschwind, Internonce et Ministre P tentiaire de Sa Majesté l'Empereur d'A notre Envoyé Extraordinaire et Ministre P tentiaire auprès de la Sublime Porte, Ch Grand-Croix de l'Ordre Toscan de Saint Chevalier Commandeur de plusieurs autres etc., en vertu des Pleins-pouvoirs qu'à ce nous lui avons conférés, et par Mustafa B Efendi, Cadi - Asker de la Romelie, et El Mehemed Akif Reis Efendi, ou Grand-Cha de l'Empire Ottoman, munis des Pleins - Po de Sa Majesté l'Empereur des Ottomans, Mahmoud Second, leur Souverain, lequel est de la teneur suivante:

Visto ed esaminato il Trattado concluso, regolato e firmato a Costantinopoli, il 12 Febbrajo di quest' anno 1833, dell' Era Cristiana (23 della Luna di Ramazan anno dell' Egira 1248) dal Barone Francesco d'Ottenfels Gschwind, Internunzio e Ministro Plenipotenziario di Sua Maestà l'Imperator d'Austria, nostro Inviato Straordinario e Ministro Plenipotenziario presso la Sublime Porta, Cavaliere Gran Croce dell'Ordine Toscano di Santo Giuseppe, Cavalier Commendatore di diversi altri Ordini, ec. in virtù dei Plenipoteri che a tale effetto noi gli abbiamo conferiti, e da Mustafa Bedschet Efendi, Čadi-Asker della Romelia, e Elbadsch Mehemed Akif Reis-Efendi, o Gran Cancelliere dell'Impero Ottomanno, muniti dei Pleni-poteri di Sua Maestà Imperatore degli Ottomanni, Sultano Mahmoud Secondo loro Sovrano, il qual Trattato è del seguente tenore.

Sua Altezza Imperiale e Reale il Serenissimo Principe Leopoldo Secondo, per la grazia di Dio Principe Imperiale d'Austria, Principe Reale d'Ungheria e di Boemia, Arciduca d'Austria, Gran-Duca di Toscana, ec. ec. animato dal desiderio di facilitare e viepiù estendere le relazioni fra i suoi Sudditi, e quelli della Sublime Porta Ottomanna, e di consolidare e ristringere maggiormente la perfetta amicizia che da sì lungo tempo sussiste fra i 2 Sovrani, e i loro Stati; e avendo in questa veduta presa la determinazione di stipulare un nuovo Trattato di Pace e di Commercio, che confermando i legami dell'antica unione e le disposizioni del Trattato anteriore del 25 Maggio 1747 (20 della Luna Redscheb dell'anno dell'Egira 1160) possa offrire un nuovo incoraggimento alle relazioni di Commercio e di Navigazione fra i Sudditi respettivi;
