EVENING.

MONDAY AND THURSDAY.

OUR Father, who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation: But deliver us from evil : For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

Almighty and everlasting God, who art always more ready to hear than we to pray, and art wont to give more than either we desire or deserve; pour down upon us the abundance of thy mercy, forgiving us those things whereof our conscience is afraid, and giving us those good things which we are

not worthy to ask, but through the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ thy Son our Lord. Amen.

O Lord, we beseech thee, mercifully hear our prayers, and spare all those who confess their sins unto thee; that we, whose consciences by sin are accused, by thy merciful pardon may be absolved, through Christ our Lord. Amen.

O Almighty God, who alone canst order the unruly wills and affections of sinful men; grant unto thy servants, that we may love the thing which thou commandest, and desire that which thou dost promise; that so, among the sundry and manifold changes of the world, our hearts may surely there be fixed, where true joys are to be found, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

O Lord, who never failest to help and govern those whom thou dost bring up in

thy steadfast fear and love; keep us this night, we beseech thee, under the protection of thy good providence; and make us to have a perpetual fear and love of thy holy Name, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

O Lord God, who seest that we put not our trust in any thing that we do; mercifully grant that by thy power we may be defended against all adversity, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Almighty God, the fountain of all wisdom, who knowest our necessities before we ask, and our ignorance in asking; we beseech thee to have compassion upon our infirmities; and those things which for our unworthiness we dare not, and for our blindness we cannot ask, vouchsafe to give us for the worthiness of thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We will lay us down in peace, and take

our rest; for it is thou, Lord, only, that makest us dwell in safety.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Ghost, be with us all evermore. Amen.

TUESDAY AND FRIDAY.

Praised be the Lord daily; even the God who helpeth us, and poureth his benefits upon us.

O Lord, our Heavenly Father, Almighty and everlasting God, who hast safely brought us to the beginning of this day; defend us in
