set before us, thy bountiful grace and mercy may speedily help and deliver us, through the satisfaction of thy Son our Lord: to whom, with thee and the Holy Ghost, be honour and glory, world without end. Amen.

O Lord, we beseech thee, absolve thy servants from their offences; that, through thy bountiful goodness, we may all be delivered from the bands of those sins which by our frailty we have committed: Grant this, O Heavenly Father, for Jesus Christ's sake, our blessed Lord and Saviour. Amen.

O God, who declarest thy Almighty power chiefly in showing mercy and pity; mercifully grant unto us such a measure of thy grace, that we, running the way of thy commandments, may obtain thy gracious promises, and be made partakers of thy heavenly treasure, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We beseech thee, Almighty God, mercifully to look upon thy servants; that, by thy great goodness, we may be protected this night, and governed and preserved evermore, both in body and soul, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Almighty and everlasting God, mercifully look upon our infirmities; and in all our dangers and necessities stretch forth thy right hand to help and defend us, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

O God, our refuge and strength, who art the author of all godliness; be ready, we beseech thee, to hear the devout prayers of thy servants; and grant that those things which we have asked faithfully, we may obtain effectually, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We will lay us down in peace and take our rest; for it is thou, Lord, only, that makest us dwell in safety.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Ghost, be with us all evermore. Amen.

MORNING PRAYER.

OUR Father, who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation: But deliver us from evil : For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

ble praises, for thy preservation of us from the beginning of our lives to this day, and especially for having delivered us from the dangers of the past night. To thy watchful providence we owe it,* (that no disturbance hath come nigh us or our dwelling; but that we are brought in safety to the beginning of this day.) For these thy mercies, we bless and magnify thy glorious Name; humbly beseeching thee to accept this our morning sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving; for his sake who lay down in the grave, and rose again for us, thy Son our Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.

And, since it is of thy mercy, O gracious Father, that another day is added to our lives; we here dedicate both our souls and our bodies to thee and thy service, in a sober, righteous, and godly life: in which
