This book is the collective effort of the Law Department of the Business School of the Singapore Management University. The General Editor, Andrew Phang, is Professor of Law at the Law Department of the Business School of the Singapore Management University. Graduating with an LLB (First Class Honours) from the National University of Singapore, he later obtained his LLM and SJD from Harvard Law School. He has been in legal academia for over two decades and has published numerous books, book chapters as well as articles. He is also the author of Cheshire, Fifoot and Furmston's Law of Contract ? Second Singapore and Malaysian Edition (1998). His works have been cited by Singapore and Malaysian courts as well as by the Australian High Court and the New South Wales courts.
