HOW goodly are thy tents, O Jacob! thy tabernacles, Israel! And in the greatness of thy benevolence, will I enter thine house; in reverence of thee, will I bow down towards the temple of thine holiness. O Lord! I have loved the habitation of thine house, and the dwelling-place of thy glory. I therefore will worship, bow down, and bend the knee before the Lord my maker. And I will offer my prayer unto thee, O Lord ! in an acceptable time: in thine abundant mercy, O God! answer me in the truth of thy salvation.

Let the living God be magnified and be praised; he exists, and there is no period to his existence.

He is unity, and there is no unity like unto his unity; he is concealed, yea, also there is no end to his unity.

He hath no bodily likeness, nor is he corporeal; his holiness is incomparable.

He was the antecedent to every thing which was created, he is the first, and there is no beginning to his beginning.

הִנּוֹ אֲרוֹן עוֹלָם לְכָל־עָר: יוֹרֶה גְרְלָתוֹ וּמַלְכוּתוֹ: שֶׁפַע נְבִוּאָתוֹ נְתָנוֹ.אֶל־אַנְשֵׁי סְגלָּתוֹ וְתִפְאַרְתּוֹ:

לֹא קָם בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל בְּמשֶׁה עוֹד נָבִיא וּמַבִּיט אֶת־תְּמוּנָתוֹ : תּוֹרַת אֱמֶת נָתַן-בִּלְעַמוֹ אֵל. עַל יַד נְבִיאוֹ נָזְמַן בֵּיתו:

לא יַחֲלִיף הָאֵל וְלֹא. יָמִיר • בָּתוֹ לְעוֹלָמם לְזִוּלָתוֹ: צוֹפֶה וְיוֹדַע סְרְרְנוּ • מַבִּיט לְסוֹף דָּבָר בְּקַדְמָתוֹ:

גוֹמֵל לְאִישׁ חֶסֶד בְּמִפְעָלוֹ נוֹתֵן לְרָשָׁע רַע בְּרַשְׁעָתוֹ: יִשְׁלַח לְקֵץ יָמִין מְשִׁיחֵנוּ •

לִפְרוֹת מְחַבֵּי קֵץ יְשׁוּעָתוֹ : מֵתִים יְהִיה.אל בְּרֹב חַסְדוֹ • בָּרוּךְ עַרֵי־עָר שָׁם תְּהִלָּתוֹ :

Behold, he is the Lord of the Universe, to all that is formed; shewing his magnificence and his kingdom,

The inspiration of his prophecy, he gave unto his peculiar and glorified people.

Yet never hath there arisen in Israel a prophet like unto Moses, who beheld the similitude of his glory.

A law of truth hath the Almighty given to his people, by the hand of our prophet, the faithful of his house.

The Almighty will never change nor alter his law, for evermore there is none but his.

He observeth and knoweth all our secrets, he beholdeth the end of every thing before it is begun,

He rewardeth every saint according to his work, he yieldeth to the wiked evil accordįng to his wįkedness.

He will send at the end of days our anointed, to redeem those who hope at that for his salvation.

The Almighty will quiken the dead, with the multitude of his mercy: Blessed be his pame and his praise, for ever and ever.

שיר מורכב מיתד וב' תנועת ויתד וב'תנועות בדלת וכן בסוגו. אֲדוֹן עוֹלָם אֲשֶׁר מָלַךְ בְּטֶרֶם כָּל־צִיר גִבְרָא: לְעֵת נַעֲשָׂה בְחֶפְצוֹ כּל אֲזַי מֶלֶךְ שְׁמוֹ נִקְרָא: וְאַחֲרֵי כְּכָלות הַכּל לְבַדּוֹ יִמְלוֹךְ נוֹרָא: וְהוּא הָיָה וְהוּא הוֶה. וְהוּא יִהְיֶה בְּתִפְאָרָה וְהוּא אֶחָד וְאֵין שֵׁנִי; לְהַמְשִׁיל לוֹ לְהַחְבִּירָה: בְּלִי רֵאשִׁית בְּלִי חַכְלִית וְלֹוֹ הָעוֹז וְהַמִּשְׂרָה: וְהוּא אֵלִי וְחַי גאלי • וְצוּר חֶבְלִי בְּעֵת צָרָה: וְהוּא נְפִי וּמָנוֹס לִי מְנָת כּוֹסִי בְּיוֹם אֶקְרָא: בְּיָדוֹ אַפְקִיד רוּחִי בְּעֵת אִישַׁן וְאָעיר : וְעֶם רוּחִי גְּוִיָּתִי ܕܕ ?ܕ

וְלא אִירָא: ונסזכירו השם הוי' ב"ה יכוין פירוט קלילתו נערכות פסוק אדון הכל וגס יכוין נכתינקו סקול היה הוה ויהיה ונקזכירו שס אלהיס יכוין סקול

נכל הברכות והתפלות כריך סיכוין פירוט סמכות מק סמוכל נספחיו,

התקיף ונעל היכולת ונעל קכוקות כולס.

Universal Lord! who the sceptre sway'd,

Ere creation's first wond'rous form was framd: When by his will divine, all things were made,

Then -- King, Almighty, was his name proclaim'd! When all shall cease, and this world's system o'er,

Then he tremendously alone will reign:
Who was, who is, and will evermore

In most refulgent glory still remain
Sole God! unequall'd and beyond compare :

Without division or associate;
Without commencing date, or final year -

Omnipotence is his, and regal state,
He is my God, my living Redemeer,

My shelt'ring rock in a distressed hour ; My refuge, my standard, and protector,

My lot's disposer, when I seek his power Into his hands my spirit I consign,

Whilst wrapt in sleep, and when again I wake: And with my spirit my body I resign;

The Lord's with me, no fears my soul shall shake.
