Most of the engravings which accompany this volume, are from the designs of Mr. Come. The frontispiece was designed by Mr. Pen niman. The plate which exhibits the return of the squadron from the Mediterranean, is from a design of Mr Fanning, and was taken from actual survey on board the Independence.
