Keep me, my God, from stain of sin. Just for to-day.

EAR Saint Joseph! Living altar

Of the Heart of Love divine,
Spouse of God's own spotless Mother.
Oh! what power in Heaven is thine.
Faithful Guardian of the chiefest

Of God's treasures, thine the key
To His boundless bliss and blessings,
Open, then, great Saint for me,
With thy potent prayers the portals
Of His Treasury of grace,

That I here may love and serve Him,

And in Heaven behold His face.

THEN we have to reply to any one who has insulted us we should be careful to do it with meekness. A soft answer extinguishes the fire of wrath. If we feel ourselves growing angry, it is better for us to be silent, because we should speak amiss; when we become tranquil, we shall see that all our words were culpable.

The Message.

MESSAGE from the Sacred Heart!

What may Its message be?

'My child, My child, give Me thy heart-
My heart has bled for thee!'

This is the message Jesus sends

To my poor heart to-day,

And from His throne in heaven He bends
To hear what I shall say."

"A message to the Sacred Heart!
Oh! bear it back with speed:
"Come, Jesus, reign within my heart-
Thy Heart is all I need'

This prayer I'll pray while here I pine,
From heaven and Thee apart,

Nor cease, dear Lord, till I am Thine

For ever heart to heart."

I have within my breast at Holy Communion that Sacred Heart that loved me uninterruptedly throughout the three-and-thirty years. I will praise Thee, O Lord, with my whole heart. will bless Thy Name forever.
