8° Adams and Nourse, Boston, 1787 The General Court of Massachusetts (Samuel Adams, President of the Senate and John Hancock Governor) ordered 25 Oct. 1787, the Constitution and the accompanying Correspondence to be printed, and three copies to be distributed to the select-men of each town in the Commonwealth, and that the select men certify to the election of Delegates to the States Convention for ratifying the Constitution.
