Drugarog Arglwydd, ni a attolygwn i ti ganiattàu i'th ffyddlawn bobl faddeuant a thangnefedd; fel y glanhâer hwynt oddiwrth eu holl bechodau, ac y gwasanaethont ti â meddwl heddychol; trwy Iesu Grist ein Harglwydd. Amen.

Arglwydd, ac y'nghadernid ei allu ef. Gwisgwch holl arfogaeth Duw, fel y galloch sefyll yn erbyn cynllwynion diafol. Oblegid nid yw ein hymdrech ni yn erbyn gwaed a chnawd; 'ond yn erbyn tywysogaethau, yn erbyn awdurdodau, yn erbyn bydol lywiawdwŷr tywyllwch y byd hwn, yn erbyn drygau ysprydol yn y nefolion leoedd. Am hynny cymmerwch attoch holl arfogaeth Duw, fel y galloch wrth-sefyll yn y dydd drwg; ac wedi gorphen pob peth, sefyll. Sefwch gan hynny wedi amgylch wregysu eich lwynau â gwirionedd, a gwisgo dwyfronneg cyfiawnder; a gwisgo am eich traed esgidiau parottöad efengyl tangnefedd. Uwchlaw pob dim, wedi cymmeryd tarian y ffydd, a'r hwn y gellwch ddiffoddi holl bicellau tanllyd y fall. Cymmerwch hefyd helm yr iachawdwriaeth, a chleddyf yr Yspryd, yr hwn yw gair Duw: gan weddïo bob amser, â phob rhyw weddi a deisyfiad yn yr Yspryd, a bod yn wyliadwrus at hyn yma trwy bob dyfal bara, a deisyfiad tros yr holl saint; a throsof finnau, fel y rhodder i mi ymadrodd,

The Epistle. Ephes. vi. 10.

MY brethren, be strong in

the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth; and having on the breast-plate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance, and supplication for all saints; and for me, that utterance may be given unto

Yr Efengyl. St. Ioan iv. 46. Roedd rhyw bendefig, yr YR hwn yr oedd ei fab yn glaf yn Capernaum. Pan glybu hwn ddyfod o'r Iesu o Iudea i Galilea, efe a aeth atto ef, ac a attolygodd iddo ddyfod i waered ac iachâu ei fab ef; canys yr oedd efe ym mron marw. Yna Iesu a ddywedodd wrtho ef, Oni welwch chwi arwyddion a rhyfeddodau, ni chredwch. Y pendefig a ddywedodd wrtho ef, O Arglwydd, tyred i waered cyn marw fy machgen. Iesu a ddywedodd wrtho ef, Dos ymaith: y mae dy fab yn fyw. A'r gwr a gredodd y gair a ddywedasai Iesu wrtho, ac efe a aeth ymaith. Ac fel yr oedd efe yr awrhon yn myned i waered, ei weision a gyfarfuant âg ef, ac a fynegasant, gan ddywedyd, Y mae dy fachgen yn fyw. Yna efe a ofynodd iddynt yr awr y gwellhasai arno. A hwy a ddywedasant wrtho, Doe y seithfed awr, y gadawodd y crŷd ef. Yna y gwybu'r tad mai yr awr honno oedd, yn yr hon y dywedasai Iesu wrtho ef, Y mae dy fab yn fyw. Ac efe a gredodd, a'i holl dŷ. Yr ail arwydd yma drachefn a wnaeth yr Iesu, wedi dyfod o Iudea i Galilea.

ARGLWYDD, ni a delu lygwn i ti, gadw dy deulu yr Eglwys mewn duwiolder gwastadol; fel y bo, trwy dy nodded di, iddi gael ei gwaredu oddiwrth bob gwrthwyneb, ac yn ddefosiynol ymrôi i'th wasan

THE

The Gospel. St. John iv. 46. HERE was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum. When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judæa into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down and heal his son; for he was at the point of death. Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe. The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die. Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way, thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way. And, as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth. Then enquired he of them the hour when he began to amend: and they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him. So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth; and himself believed, and his whole house. This is again the second miracle that Jesus did, when he was come out of Judæa into Galilee.

The Epistle. Phil. i. 3. I Thank my God upon every remembrance of you, (always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,) for your fellowship in the Gospel from the first day until now; being confident of this very thing, that he who hath begun a good work in will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ; even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the Gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace. For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ. And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge, and in all judgement: that ye may approve things that are excellent, that ye may be sincere, and without offence, till the day of Christ: being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

The Gospel. St. Matth. xviii. 21.
ETER said unto Jesus,

my

Lord, how oft shall brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, until seven times; but until seventy times seven. Therefore is the Kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants. And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents. But

ddeng mil o dalentau. A chan nad oedd ganddo ddim i dalu, gorchymmynodd ei arglwydd ei werthu ef, a'i wraig a'i blant, a chwbl a'r a feddai, a thalu'r ddyled. A'r gwâs a syrthiodd i lawr, ac a'i haddolodd ef, gan ddywedyd, Arglwydd, bydd ymarhous wrthyf, a mi a dalaf i ti y cwbl oll. Ac arglwydd y gwas hwnnw a dosturiodd wrtho, ac a'i gollyngodd, ac a faddeuodd iddo y ddyled. Ac wedi myned o'r gwâs hwnnw allan, efe a gafodd un o'i gyd-weision, yr hwn oedd yn ei ddyled ef o gan ceiniog; ac efe a ymaflodd ynddo, ac a'i llindagodd, gan ddywedyd, Tâl i mi yr hyn sydd ddyledus arnat. Yna y syrthiodd ei gydwâs wrth ei draed ef, ac a ymbiliodd âg ef, gan ddywedyd, Bydd ymarhous wrthyf, a mi a dalaf i ti y cwbl oll. Ac nis gwnai efe; ond myned a'i fwrw ef, y'ngharchar, hyd oni thalai yr hyn oedd ddyledus. A phan welodd ei gyd-weision y pethau a wnelsid, bu ddrwg dros ben ganddynt; a hwy a ddaethant ac a fynegasant i'w harglwydd yr holl bethau a fuasai. Yna ei arglwydd, wedi ei alw ef atto, a ddywedodd wrtho, Ha was drwg, maddeuais i ti yr holl ddyled honno, am i ti ymbil â mi: ac oni ddylesit tithau drugarhàu wrth dy gyd-wâs, megis y trugarheais innau wrthyt ti? A'i arglwydd a ddigiodd, ac a'i rhoddes ef i'r poenwŷr, hyd oni thalai yr hyn oll oedd ddyledus iddo. Ac felly y gwna fy Nhad nefol i chwithau, oni faddeuwch o'ch calonnau bob un i'w frawd eu camweddau.

forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made. The servant therefore fell down and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt. But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence; and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest. And his fellow-servant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. And he would not; but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt. So when his fellow-servants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done. Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him." So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

YDDWCH gyd-ddilynwyr BYDDW i mi, frodyr, ac edrychwch ar y rhai sy yn rhodio felly, megis yr ydym ni yn siampl i chwi. Canys ein hymarweddiad ni sydd yn y nefoedd, o'r lle hefyd yr ydym yn disgwyl yr Iachawdwr, yr Arglwydd Iesu Grist: yr hwn a gyfnewidia ein corph gwael ni, fel y gwneler ef yn un ffurf â'i gorph gogoneddus ef, yn ol y nerthol weithrediad, trwy'r hwn y dichon efe, ïe ddarostwng pob peth iddo ei hun.

told you often, and now tell
you even weeping, that they
are the enemies of the cross

our conversation is in heaven;

The Gospel. St. Matth. xxii. 15. Tand took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk. And they sent out unto him their disciples, with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men. Tell us therefore, what thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Cæsar, or not? But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites? shew me the tribute-money.
