End, O Lord, an ear to my words;* attend unto my cry.

Be attentive to the voice of my prayer,* O my king, my God!

For to thee will I pray: *thou, O Lord, in the morning wilt hear my voice.

In the morning will I ftand before thee, and fee:*that thou art not a God that approvest iniquity.

Neither fhall the wicked one abide near thee: nor unrighteous ones remain in thy fight.

Thou hateft all who

work iniquity:*thou wilt deftroy all who utter lies.

The Lord will abominate the bloody and deceitful man:but I, in the multitude of thy mercy,

Will enter thy houfe: *I will adore in thy holy temple full of awe of thee.

Omine Deus meus,

thee have I hoped: Di

fave me from all my purfuers and deliver me.

Left at any time the enemy feize my foul like a lion; when there is none to rescue me nor fave me.

O Lord my God, if I have done thus:if there be iniquity in my hands:

If I have rendered evil to them that did me harm let me defervedly fall defencelefs before my enemies.

Let the enemy purfue my foul, and feize it; and let him trample out my life on the earth; and bring down my glory to the duft,

Arife then, O Lord, in thy wrath and fhew thyfelf on high in all the borders of my enemies.

And arife, O Lord my God, for the judgment thou haft appointed :*and the affembly of

Domine Deus meus, fi feci iftud:fi eft iniquitas in manibus meis:

Si reddidi retribuentibus mihi mala:decidam meritò ab inimicis meis inanis.

Perfequatur inimicus animam meam, & comprehendat, & conculcet in terrâ vitam meam;*& gloriam meam in pulverem deducat.

Exurge, Domine, in irâ tuâ:& exaltare in finibus inimicorum meo

Wherefore afcend again thy high tribunal: *the Lord judgeth the nations.

Judge me, O Lord, according to my righteoufnefs and according to my innocence.

The wickedness finners fhall have an end, thou thyself fhall guide the righteous one:*thou, O God, who searchest the hearts and reins.

It is just I should expect my help from the Lord, who faveth the upright of heart.

God is a juft judge. mighty and patient: * doth he every day exert his wrath?

Unless you change, he will brandifh his fword: *he hath bent his bow, and got it ready.

And in it he hath fitted inftruments of death; *he hath made his arrows of burning fire.

Behold the wicked one hath been in labour with injustice he conceived grief, and brought forth iniquity.

He opened a pit, and funk it and is fallen into the pit be made.

cumdabit te.

Et propter hanc in altum regredere : *Domninus judicat populos.

Judica me, Domine, fecundum juftitiam meam:* & fecundum, innocentiam meam fuper me. Confumetur nequitia peccatorum, & diriges juftum :*fcrutans corda & renes Deus.
