3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified 4004. it; because that in it he had rested from all his work which God + created and made.

11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which 24. 25. compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx-stone.

20 And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.
21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah.
22 And Enoch walked with God, after he begat Methuselah, three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.

17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
18 But with thee will I establish my covenant: and thou shalt come into the ark; thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee.
19 And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female.
20 Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind; two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive.
21 And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them.

5 And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him.
The ark resteth on mount Ararat.
21 And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, Before both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man :
22 All in whose nostrils was + the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.

23 And every living substance was destroyed which of thesp rit of was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.

4 And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
11 And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off. So Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.

8 Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground:
9 But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark; for the waters were on the face of the whole earth. Then he put forth his hand, and took her, and + pulled her + Heb in unto him into the ark.

He replenisheth the world. 11 And I will establish my covenant with you: Before neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.

12 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. · 14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud & Ecclus. over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: 15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you, and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.
17 And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.
18 And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the 2347. ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of + Canaan.
19 These are the three sons of Noah; and of them was the whole earth overspread.
20 ¶ And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:
21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken ; and he was uncovered within his tent.
22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.
23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness.
And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.
25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
26 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his || servant.

W these are the generations of the sons of 2347. Noah; Shem, Ham, and Japheth and unto them were sons born after the flood.
2 The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and a 1 Chr. Madai, and Javan, and 'Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras. 1. 5, &c. 3 And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
4 And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
