FOLLOW ME

--Ps. 104:15.

Follow me. Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the
gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and
many there be which go in thereat:

PROPHETS AND PROPHECY

-1 Cor. 10:17.

He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall
receive a prophet's reward: and he that receiveth a right-
eous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a
righteous man's reward.

Matt.

24

A prophet is not without honor, save in his own country,
and in his own house.

Matt. 13:57

And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, 25 By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see and shall not perceive.

26

28

29

For this people's heart is waxed gross and their ears are dull of
hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should
see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand
with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous
en have desired to see those things which ye see, and have
not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and
have not heard them.

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's
clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. Every tree that
bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into
the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied
in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name
done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them,
I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

THE SPIRITUALLY BLIND

-Rev. 2:7.

Luke
Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into
6:39 the ditch?

Matt. Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if
15:14 the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

Luke 8:10

Mark 4:12

Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom
of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not
see, and hearing they might not understand.

That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they
may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should
be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not Mark yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened? 8:17, 18 Having eyes see ye not, and having ears hear ye not, and do ye not remember?

Luke 7:24,

26, 27

What went ye out into the wilderness for to see? A reed shaken
with the wind? But what went ye out for to see? A prophet?
Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet. This is he,
of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy
face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a
vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candle-
stick, that they which enter in may see the light.

Luke

If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part 11:36 dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.
