Sida 19 - AN ACT To enable the State of Arkansas, and other States, to reclaim the Swamp Lands within their limits.
Sida 3 - When, then, a law is in its nature a contract, when absolute rights have vested under that contract, a repeal of the law cannot devest those rights ; and the act of annulling them if legitimate, is rendered so by a power applicable to the case of every individual in the community.
Sida 6 - The contract between Georgia and the purchasers was executed by the grant. A contract executed, as well as one which is executory, contains obligations binding on the parties.
