TUESDAY MORNING.

"And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament, from the waters which were above the firmament."-GENESIS i. 7, 8.

LORD! whose almighty hand withdrew
The waters to their cloud,

And spread that sky, of clearest blue,

O'er the wide heavens bowed;

And rolled the sea-green waves beneath,

Crisped with each low wind's gentle breath. (3)

Most gracious Lord, whose care and love

Bids every shower distil

The dropping manna ❝ from above,

To brighten vale and hill;

And bids the nodding harvest glow,

And every tender flower blow.

Trees at

thy bidding blossomed round

And fresh green herbage clothed the ground.
