2 In the Beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All Things were made by Him, and without Him was not any Thing made that was made, John i. 1, 3. For by Him were all Things + created that are in Heaven, and that are in Earth, visible and invisible, whether they be Thrones or Dominions, or Principalities or Powers; all Things were created by Him and for Him. And he is before all Things, and by Him all Things confift, Col.'j. 16, 17. He that built all Things is God, Heb. iii. 4. We are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Chrift; this is the True God and Eternal Life, 1 John v. 20. the Fulness of Time was come, God sent forth a Son made of a Woman, made under the Law, Gal. iv. 4. Who being in the Form of-God, thought it no Robbery to be equal with God. The Blood of Jesus Christ cleanseth from all Sin. 1 Pet. ii. 24. Who His ownself bare our Sins in his own Body on the Tree. IJ. liji. 5,6. He was wounded for our Transgreffions, he was bruised for our Iniquities': The Chastifement of our Peace was upon him, and with his Stripes we are healed. All we like Sheep have gone astray, we have turned every one to his own ay, and the Lord hath laid on Him the Iniquity of us all. Ver. 8. For the Transgression of my People was he striken. Ver. 10.
