Sida 107 - Holy Scripture containeth all things necessary to salvation: so that whatsoever is not read therein, nor may be proved thereby, is not to be required of any man, that it should be believed as an article of the Faith, or be thought requisite or necessary to salvation.
Sida 106 - I. Of Faith in the Holy Trinity. There is but one living and true God, everlasting, without body, parts, or passions; of infinite power, wisdom, and goodness; the Maker, and Preserver of all things both visible and invisible.
Sida 13 - I would spend some time with them in prayer, and advise them how to flee from the wrath to come ; which they saw continually hanging over their heads.
Sida 30 - By doing good; by being in every kind merciful after their power ; as they have opportunity, doing good of every possible sort, and, as far as possible, to all men.

Sida 90 - As our American brethren are now totally disentangled both from the State and from the English hierarchy, we dare not entangle them again either with the one or the other. They arc now at full liberty simply to follow the Scriptures and the Primitive Church.
