The wicked borroweth, and payeth | not-a | gain : But the righteous | shew-eth | mercy,—and | giveth. For such as be blessed of him shall in | herit— the earth; And they that be cursed of | him-shall | be— cut off. The steps of a good man are ordered | by—the | Lord: And he de light-eth | in-his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly-cast | down: For the Lord upholdeth | h-im | with-his | hand. I have been young, and now-am | old ; He is ever merciful-and lendeth: Depart from evil, | and-do | good; For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh | not-his saints; They are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wick-ed | shall be-cut | off. The righteous shall in | herit-the | land, And dwell-there | in-for ever. |i The mouth of the righteous | speak-eth | wisdom, And his tongue | talketh-of | judgment. ; The law of his God is | in-his | heart The Lord will not leave him | in-his | hand, Nor condemn-him | when he―is | judged. Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit-the land: I When the wicked are cut-off, thou-shalt | see it. I have seen the wicked in | gre—at | power, tree. Yet he passed away, and | lo,—he | was not : Yea, I sought him, but he could | not—be | found. Mark the perfect man, and be | hold—the | upright : For the end-of that | man-is peace. But the transgressors shall be destroyed-to | gether: The end of the | wick-ed | shall be—cut | off. But the salvation of the righteous | is of-the | Lord : He is their strength-in the | time-of | trouble. And the Lord shall help them, | and—de | liver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they | trust-in | him, 25. HEAR this, all-ye | people: Give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world: both low and high, rich-and | poor,-together. My mouth shall speak-of wisdom; | And the meditation of my heart shall | be of-under | standing. I will incline mine | ear-to a | parable : I will open my dark | saying-up | on-the | harp. Wherefore should I fear in the | days-of evil, When the iniquity of my heels shall | compass me about? They that trust in their | wealth, And boast themselves in the | multi-tude | of-their riches; None of them can by any means re | deem— his brother, Nor give to | God—a | ran—som | for him : (For the redemption of their precious, And-it ceaseth-for | ever :) That he should still | live-for | ever, soul-is | For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish | per-son | perish, And leave-their wealth-to | others. Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling-places to | all-generations; They call their lands-after | their own | names. Nevertheless man being in honour a | bid—eth | not: He is like the | beasts-that | perish. Yet their posterity-approve—their | sayings. Like sheep they are | laid-in the grave: And the upright shall have dominion over them | in—the morning; And their beauty shall con | sume-in the | grave-from their | dwelling. But God will redeem my soul from the powerof the grave: For he shall-receive me. Be not thou afraid when one is—made | rich, When the glory-of his | house-is in | creased; For when he dieth he shall carry | nothingaway: His glory shall not des | cen-d | after | him. Though while he lived he | blessed-his | soul: And men will praise thee, when thou | do-est | well-to thyself. He shall go to the generation of his | fathers: They-shall | never-see | light. Man that is in honour, and under-standeth | not, Is like the beasts-that | perish. 26. MAKE a joyful noise unto God, all-ye | lands: Sing forth the honour | of-his | name : Say unto God, how terrible | art-thou | inthy works! Through the greatness of thy power Shall thine enemies submit themselves | un-to thee. All the earth shall worship thee, and shall | sing-unto thee; They shall si-ng | to-thy | name. Come and see the works-of | God: He is terrible in his doing toward-the | children-of men. He turned the sea | into-dry | land: There did we re | joice-in | him. He ruleth | by his | power-for | ever: His eyes be hold-the | nations: Let not the rebellious-ex | alt-them | selves. O bless our God,-ye | people, And make the voice of his prai-se | to-be | heard: Which holdeth our soul-in | life, And suffereth not-our | feet-to be moved. |
