verily I say unto you; He that receiveth whomsoever

I send, receiveth me: and he that receiveth me, re21 ceiveth him that sent me. When Jesus had thus said,

Verily, verily I say unto you, that one of you shall -22 betray me. Then the disciples looked one on another, 23 doubting of whom he spake. Now there was leaning

when he had dipped the fop, he gave it to Judas Il27 cariot, the son of Simon. And after the sop, Satan

entered into him (m). Then said Jesus unto him, 28 That thou doelt, do quickly (n). Now no man at the 29 table knew for what intent helpake this unto him. For

some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had faid unto him, Buy those things that we

have need of against the feast : or that he should give 30 something to the poor. He then having received the

fop, went immediately out: and it was night. 31

Therefore when he was out, Jesus said, Now

is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in 32 'him. If God be glorified in him, God shall also

glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify

AM the true vine, and my Father is the husband.

man. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit, he taketh away: and every branch that beareth

you (c). As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself,

except it abide in the vine : no more can ye, except 5 ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches :

He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bring

eth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do no6 thing (d). If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth

as a branch (e), and is withered; and men gather them, y and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If

ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall

ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much

(l) Let us arise from table, and go away. (a) Ile drelleth and pruneth it, that it may be fit for bearing: 16) Thus are you carefully and tenderly dressed, and inade clean

(c) Take care to remain united to me as branches are to their Rock'; and I will nourish and invigorate you by my spirit.
