Sida 462 - Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly : gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts : let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.
Sida 3 - Although the fig-tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines : the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; The flock shall be cut off from the fold : and there shall be no herd in the stalls ; Yet I will rejoice in the Lord : I will joy in the God of my salvation.
Sida 431 - Wash you, make you clean ; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; Cease to do evil; learn to do well; Seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, Judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
Sida 418 - Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites ! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith : these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
Sida 455 - Lord's portion is his people: Jacob is the lot of his inheritance. As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings : so the Lord alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.
Sida 361 - They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters ; these see the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep.
Sida 428 - It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning : great is Thy faithfulness.
Sida 473 - BOOK lS NOT RETURNED TO THE LlBRARY ON OR BEFORE THE LAST DATE STAMPED BELOW. NON-RECElPT OF OVERDUE NOTlCES DOES NOT EXEMPT THE BORROWER FROM OVERDUE FEES.
Sida 431 - Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place : for all they that take the sword, shall perish with the sword.
