14 That fhe called unto the men of her houfe, and fpake unto them, faying,See,he hath brought in an Hebrew unto us, to mock us: he came in unto me to lie with me, and I cried with a † loud Heb voice.

15 And it came to pass, when he heard that I lifted up my voice.and cried,that he left his gar ment with me, and fled, and got him out. 16 And fhe laid up his garment by her until his lord came home.

17 And the fpake unto him according to thefe words, faying, The Hebrew fervant which thou haft brought unto us, came in unto me, to mock me.

18 And it came to pafs, as I lift up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled out.

19 And it came to pafs, when his mafter heard the words of his wife,which fhe fpake unto him, faying, After this manner did thy fervant to me, that his wrath was kindled.

20 And Jofephs mafter took him, and put him into the prifon, a place where the kings prifoners were bound: and he was there in the prifon.

9 And the chief butler told his dream to Jofeph,and faid unto him, In my dream, behoid, a vine was before me :

To And in the vine were three branches, and it was as though it budded,and her bloffoms fhot forth,and the clufiers thereof brought forth ripe grapes.

11 And Pharaohs cup was in nine hand, and I took the grapes,and preffed them into Pharaohs cup: and Igave the cup into Pharaohs hand. 12 And Jofeph laid unto him, This is the interpretation of it: the three branches are three dayes:

13 Yet within three dayes fhall Pharaoh lift up thine head, and restore thee unto thy place, and thou fhalt deliver Pharaohs cup into his hand, after the former manner when thou waft his butler.

14 Butt think on me when it fhall be well with thee, and fhew kindenefs, I pray thee,unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh,and bring me out of this houfe.

15 For indeed I was ftolen away cut of the land of the Hebrews: and here alfo have I done nothing, that they should put me into the dunge

16 When the chief baker faw that the interpretation was good, he faid unto Jofeph, I alfo was in my dream, and behold, I had three white baskets on my head.

17 And in the uppermoft basket there was of all manner of t bake-meats for Pharaoh, and the birds did eat them out of the basket upon my head.

30 And there fhall arife after them feven years of famine, and all the plenty fhall be forgotten in the land of Egypt: and the famine fhall confume the land.

31 And the plenty fhall not be known in the land, by reafon of that famine following: for it fhall be very grievous.

8 Behold, the money which we found in our facks mouths we brought again unto thee out of the land of Canaan: how then fhould we fteal out of thy lords houfe filver or gold?

9 With whom foever of thy fervants it be found, both let him die, and we alfo will be my lords bondmen.

to And he faid, Now alfo let it be according unto your words: he with whom it is found,hall be my fervant, and ye fhall be blamelefs.

12 And he fearched. and began at the eldeft, and left at the youngest: and the cup was found in Benjamins fack.

13 Then they rent their clothes,and laded every man his afs, and returned to the city.

14 And Judah and his brethren came to Jo fephs houfe (for he was yet there) and they tell before him on the ground.

15 And Jofeph faid unto them, What deed is this that ye have done? wot ye not that fuch a man as I can certainly divine?

16 And Judah faid, What shall we fay unto my maky trilord? whar fhall we ipeak? or how fhall we clear all our felves? God hath found out the iniquity of thy fervants behold, we are my lords fervants, both we, and be allo with whom the cup is found.

17 And he faid, God forbid that I should do fo: but the man in whofe hand the cup is found, he fhall be my fervant, and as for you, get ye up in peace unto your father.

18 Then Judah came near unto him,and faid, Oh, my lord, let thy fervant, I pray thee, fpeak a word in my lords ears, and let not thine anger burn against thy fervant: for thou art even as Pharaoh.

32 And they fet on for him by himfelf, and for them by themselves;and for the Egyptians which did eat with him, by themfelves: becaule the E-a gyptians might not eat bread with the Hebrews: for that is an abomination unto the Egyptians.

33 And they fat before him, the firit-born according to his birth-right, and the youngest ac cording to his youth; and the men marvelled one at another.

34 And he took and fent melles unto them from before him: but Benjamins mels was five they drank times fo much as any of theirs: and they drank largely Land + were merry with him.

Nd he commanded the fteward of his 45 over houfe, faying, Fill the mens facks with food, as much as they can carry, and put every mans money in his facks mouth.

2 And put my cup, the filver cup, in the facks mouth of the youngeft, and his corn-money: and be did according to the word that Jofeph had spoken,

19 My lord asked his fervants, faying, Have ye
father, or a brother?

20 And we faid unto my lord,We have a father,
an old man, and a childe of his old age, a little
one, and his brother is dead, and he alone is left
of his mother, and his father loveth him.

21 And thou faidft unto thy fervants, Bring him down unto me, that I may fet mine eyes upon him.

22 And we faid unto my lord, The lad cannot leave his father, for if he fhould leave his father, bis father would die.

23 Andthu faidft unto thy fervants, Except Chap your youngest brother come down with you, yer 443.32 thall fee my face no more.
