6 And when the dayes of her purifying are ful- the plague be turned into white, then the prieft filled, for a fon, or for a daughter, the fhall bring fhall pronounce bim clean that bath the plague: a lambt of the first year for a burnt-offering, he is clean. and a young pigeon, or a turtle dove for a finoffering, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest:

7 Who fhall offer it before the LORD, and make an atonement for her, and fhe fhall be cleanfed front the iffue of her bloud. This is the law for her that hath born a male or a feniale.

8 And if the be not able to bring a lamb, then the fhall bring two turtles,or two young pigeons, the one for the burnt-offering, and the other for a fin-offering: and the prieit fhall make! an atonement for her, and the fhall be clean. CHAP. XIII.

The laws and tokens whereby the priest is to be guided in discerning the leprofie.

And the LORD ipake unto Mofes and Aaron,

faying,

When a man fhall have in the skin of his Or. fleth a rifing, a icab, or bright spot, and it be in welling. the skin of his fiefh like the plague of leprofie, then he fhall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his fons the priests.

3 And the priest fhall look on the plague in the skin of the flesh, and when the hair in the plague is turned white, and the plague in fight is deeper then the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprofie: and the priest shall look on him, and Heb. pronounce him unclean.

4 If the bright spot be white in the skin of his flesh,and in fight be not deeper then the skin, and the hair thereof be not turned white, then the pricft fhall fhut up bim that bath the plague feven dayes.

5 And the prieft fhall look on him the feventh day: and behold, if the plague in his fight be at a ftay, and the plague fpread not in the skin,then the prieft fhall fhut him up teven dayes more. 6 And the priest fhall look on him again the feventh day: and behold, if the plague be fomewhat dark,and the plague ipread not in the skin, the priest fhall tpronounce him clean,it is but a fcab: and he fhall wash his clothes, and be clean. 7 But if the fcab fpread much abroad in the skin,after that he hath been feen of the priest for his cleanfing, he fhall be feen of the pricft again. 8 And if the prieft fee, that behold, the fcab fpreadeth in the skin, then the prieft fhall t pronounce him unclean: it is a leprofie.

9 When the plague of leprofie is in a man: then he thall be brought unto the priest:

11 It is an old leprofie in the skin of his flesh, and the priest fhall pronounce him unclean, and fhall not fhut him up: for he is unclean.

12 And if a leprofie break out abroad in the skin, and the leprofie cover all the skin of bim that bath the plague, from his head even to his foot, wherefoever the priest looketh:

13 Then the priest fhall confider: and behold, if the leprofie have covered all his flesh, he fhall pronounce bim clean that bath the Plague: it is all turned white: he is clean.

14 But when raw flesh appeareth in him, he fhall be unclean.

15 And the priest shall fee the raw flesh, and Pronounce him to be unclean; for the raw flefh is unclean: it is a leprofie,

16 Or if the raw flesh turn again, and be changed unto white, he fhall come unto the priest: 17 And the priest fhall fee him, and behold, if

18 The flesh alfo in which, even in the skin thereof, was a bile, and is healed:

19 And in the place of the bile there be a white rifing, or a bright fpot white and fomewhat reddifh, and it be thewed to the priest:

30 And if when the priest feeth it, behold, it be in fight lower then the skin, and the hair thereof be turned white, the prieft fhall pro nounce him unclean it is a plague of leprofie broken out of the bile.

21 But if the priest look on it, and behold! there be no white hairs therein, and if it be not lower then the skin, but be fomewhat dark, then the prieft fhall fhut him up feven days.

22 And if it spread much abroad in the skin,

then the prift shall pronounce him unclean; it

is a plague.

23 But if the bright spot stay in his place, and fpread not, it is a burning bile, and the prieft fhall pronounce him clean.

whereof there 1st a hot burning, and the quick 24Or if there be any fefh in the skin, fief that burneth have a white bright ipot, fomewhat reddish, or white;

25 Then the priest fhall look upon it: and behold, if the hair in the bright fpot be turned white, and it be in fight deeper then the skin, it is a leprofie broken out of the burning: where fore the priest fhall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprofie.

26 But if the priest look on it,and behold,tbere be no white hair on the bright spot, and it be no lower then the other skin, but be fomewhat dark, then the prieft fhall fhut him up feven days.

27 And the priest fhall look upon him the fe venth day and if it be fpread much abroad in the skin, then the prieft fhall pronounce him unclean, it is the plague of leprofie.

28 And if the bright fpot ftay in his place, and fpread not in the skin, but it be fomewhat dark, it is a rifing of the burning, and the prieft fhall pronounce him clean: for it is an inflammati on of the burning.

29 If a man or woman hath a plague upon his head, or the beard,

30 Then the prieft fhall fee the plague: and behold,if it be in fight deeper then the skin, and there be in it a yellow thin hair, then the prieft fhall pronounce him unclean, it is a dry fcall, even a leprofie upon the head or beard.

31 And if the prieft look on the plague of the fcall, and behold, it be not in light deeper then the skin, and that there is no black hair in it, then the priest shall fhut up him that bath the plague of the fcall feven days.

32 And in the feventh day the priest fhall look on the plague: and behold, if the fcall fpread not, and there be in it no yellow hair, and the fcall be not in fight deeper then the skin;

33 He fhall be fhaven, but the fcall fhall he not fhave: and the priest fhall fhut up him that bath the fcall feven days more.

34 And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the fcall: and behold, if the call be not fpread in the skin, nor be in fight deeper then the skin, then the priest fhall pronounce him clean and he fhall wash his clothes, & be clean.

35 But if the fcall spread much in the skin, after his cleanting;

36 Then the priest fhall look on him, and be hold, if the fcall be fpread in the skin, the priest hall not feek for yellow hair: he is unclean.

37 But if the fcall be in his fight at a stay, and

that there is black hair grown up therein: the fcall is healed, he is clean, and the priest thall pronounce him clean.

38 If a man alto, or a woman have in the skin of their flesh bright spots,even white bright fpots.

39 Then the priest fhall look: and behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their tleh be dar kifh white, it is a freckled fpot that groweth in the skin: he is clean.

40 And the man whofe † hair is fallen off his head, he is bald: yet is he clean.

41 And he that hath his hair fallen off from the part of his head toward his face, he is forehead-bald: yet is he clean.

and if there be in the bald head, or bald fore-head a white reddish fore, it is a leprofie fprung up in his bald head, or his bald torehead. 43 Then the priest fhall look upon it: and behold, if the rifing of the fore be white reddifh in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the leprofie appeareth in the skin of the flesh;

44 He is a leprous man: he is unclean: the prieft fhall pronounce him utterly unclean, his plague is in his head.

45 And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes fhall be rent, and his head bare, and he fhall put a covering upon his upper lip,and fhall cry, Unclean, unclean.

46 All the dayes wherein the plague fhall be in him, he fhall be defiled, he is unclean, he fhall dwell alone, without the camp fhall his habitation be.

47 The garment alfo that the plague of leprofie is in, whether it be a woollen garment,or a linen garment.

48 Whether it be in the warp or woof, of linen or of woollen, whether in a skin, or in any Heb. thing made of skin:

49 And if the plague be greenifh, or reddifh, in the garment, or in the skin, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin, it is a plague of leprofie, and fhall be thewed un to the priest.

50 And the prieft fhall look upon the plague, and fhut up it that bath the plague feven dayes.

51 And he fhall look on the plague on the fe venth day: if the plague be fpread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in a skin, or in any work that is made of skin, the plague is a fretting leprofie, it is unclean.

52 He fhall therefore burn that garment, whether warp, or woof, in woollen or in linen, or any thing of skin, wherein the plague is for it is a fretting leprofie, it fhall be burnt in the fire.

53 And if the priest shall look, and behold, the plague be not fpread in the garment, either in the warp,orin the woof, or in any thing of skin: 54 Then the prieft fhall command that they wash the thing wherein the plague is, and he fhall fhut it up feven dayes more.

55 And the prieft fhall look on the plague after that it is washed, and behold, if the plague have not changed his colour, and the plague be not fpread, it is unclean, thou shalt burn it in Heb. the fire, it is fret inward, t whether it be bare

an atonement for him before the LORD.

19 And the priest fhall offer the fin-offering, and make an atonement for him that is to be cleanfed from his uncleanness, and afterward he fhall kill the burnt-offering.

20 And the pricft fhall offer the burnt-offering and the meat-offering, upon the altar and the prieft fhall make an atonement for him,and he fhall be clean..

21 And if he be poor, and † cannot get fo his hand much,then he fhall take one lamb for a treipafsreach aot. offering + to be waved, to make an atonement for him,and one tenth deal of fine flour mingled with oil, for a meat-offering, and a log of oil, 22 And two turtle doves,or two young pige ons, fuch as he is able to get: and the one thall be a fin-offering, and the other a burnt-offering. 23 And he hall bring them on the eighth day for his cleaning unto the priest. unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.

24 And the priest shall take the lamb of the trefpals-offering, and the log of oil, and the prieft fhall wave them for a wave-offering before the LORD.

25 And he fhall kill the lamb of the trefpafsoffering, and the prieft fhall take some of the blood of the trefpa s-offering, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleanfed,and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot.

26 And the priest fhall pour of the oil into the palm of his own left hand.

27 And the priest fhall fprinkle with his right finger fome of the oil that is in his left hand, fe ven times before the LORD.

18 And the prieft fhall put of the oil that is in his hand, upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleanted, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the place of the blood of the trefpafs-offering.

29 And the reft of the oil that is in the priests hand, he fhall put upon the head of him that is to be cleanfed, to make an atonement for him before the LORD.

30 And he shall offer the one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, fuch as he can get:

31 Even fuch as he is able to get, the one for a fin-offering and the other for a burnt-offering, with the meat-offering. And the priest fhall make an atonement for him that is to be cleanfed, before the LORD.

32 This is the law of bim in whom is the plague of leprofie,whofe hand is not able to get that which pertaineth to his cleanfing.

33 And the LORD fpake unto Mofes, and unto Aaron, faying,

34 When ye be come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a poffeflion, and I put the plague of leprofie in a houfe of the land of your poffeffion:

35 And he that oweth the houfe fhall come and tell the priest, faying, It feemeth to me, there is as it were a plague in the house.

36 Then the priest fhall command that they

37 And he fhall look on the plague: and behold, if the plague be in the walls of the houfe, with hollow ftrakes, greenish or reddish, which in fight are lower then the wall:

38 Then the prielt fhall go out of the houfe to the door of the house, and fhut up the houfe feven dayes.

39 And the prieft fhall come again the feven h day, and fhall look and behold, if the plague be fpread in the walls of the houfe:

40 Then the priest shall command that they take away the frones in which the plague is, and they shall caft them into an unclean place without the city.

41 And he fhall caufe the houfe to be fcraped within round about, and they fhall pour out the duft that they fcrape off, without the city into an unclean place.

42 And they fhall take other ftones, and put them in the place of thofe ftones, and he fhall take other morter, and fhall plaifter the house.

43 And if the plague come again and break out in the house, after that he hath taken away the ftones, and after he hath fcraped the house, and after it is plaiftered:

44 Then the prieft fhall come and look, and behold, if the plague be fpread in the houfe, it is a fretting leprofie in the houfe: it is unclean:

45 And he thall break down the house, the ftones of it, and the timber thereof, and all the morter of the houfe: and he fhall carry them forth out of the city into an unclean place.

46 Moreover, he that goeth into the houfe, all the while that it is fhut up, fhall be unclean un til the even.

47 And he that lieth in the houfe, fhall wash his clothes: and he that eateth in the house, fhall wash his clothes.

52 And he fhall cleanfe the houfe with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyfop, and with the fcarlet.

53 But he fhall let go the living bird out of the city into the open fields, and make an atonement for the houfe: and it fhall be clean.

54 This is the law for all manner of plague of leprofie and fcall.

55 And for the leprofie of a garment, and of an houfe.

56 And for a rifing, and for a fcab, aud for
bright fpot:

57 To teach when it is unclean, and when
it is clean: this is the law of leprofie.

14 And on the eighth day he fhall take to him two turtle doves, or two young pigeons, and come before the LORD unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and give them unto the priest.

15 And the priest shall offer them, the one for a fin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering, and the pricft fhall make an atonement for him before the LORD, for his iffie.

16 And if any mans feed of copulation go out from him, then he fhall wafh all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even.

17 And every garment,and every skin whereon is the feed of copulation, fhall be washed with water, and be unclean until the even.

18 The woman alfo with whom man fhall lie with feed of copulation, they fhall both bathe themselves in water, and be unclean until the

even.

19 And if a woman have an iffue, and her iffue in her flesh be blood, fhe fall bet put a In her fe-part feven days: and whofoever toucheth her, paration thall be unclean until the even.

31 Thus fhall ye feparate the children of Irael from their uncleannels, that they die not in their uncleannels, when they defile my tabernacle that is among them.

32 This is the law of him that hath an iffue, and of him whole feed goeth ftom him, and is defiled therewith;

33 And of her that is fick of her flowers, and of him that hath an ifiue, of the man, and of the woman, and of him that lieth with her which is unclean.

CHAP. XVI.

Nd the LORD ipake unto Mofes, after the Chaps death of the two tons of Aaron, when they 10. 2. offered before the LORD, and died.

2 And the LORD faid unto Moles, Speak un to Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all 30.10. times into the holy place within the vail, before Heb.9. 74 the mercy-feat, which is upon the ark, that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy-feat.

3 Thus fhall Aaron come into the holy pl. ce with a young bullock for a fin-offering, ana a ram for a burnt-offering.

4. He fhall put on the holy linen coat, and he fhall have the linen breeches upon his fleft, and fhall be girded with a linen girdle, and with the linen mitre fhall he be attired. Thefe are holy garments: therefore fhall he wath his flesh in water, and fo put them on.

5 And he thall take of the congregation of the children of Ifrael, two kids of the goats for fin-offering, and one ram for a burnt-offering.

13 And he fhall put the incenfe upon the fire before the LORD, that the cloud of the incente may cover the mercy-leat that is upon the teftimony, that he die not.

14 And he fhall take of the blood of the bul913& lock, and * fprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy-feat eaf-ward: and before the mercy feat fhall he fprinkle of the blood with his finger leven times.

15 Then shall he kill the goat of the fin-offering that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock,and fprinkle it upon the mercy-feat, and before the mercy-feat. 16 And he hall make an atonement for the holy place because of the uncleanneffes of the children of Ifrael,and because of their tranfgreffions in all their fins: and to fhall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation that † remaineth among them in the midft of their uncleanneffes. 17 And there fhall be no man in the tabernaclef of the congregation, when he goeth in to make an atonement in the holy place until he conie out, and have made an atonement for himfelf, and for his houfhold, and for all the congregation of Ifrael.

18 And he fhall go out unto the altar that is before the LORD, and make an atonement for

its and fhall take of the blood of the bullock,and

of the blood of the goat, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about.

19 And he fhall fprinkle of the blood upon it with his finger feven times, and cleanfe it, and hallow it from the uncleanneffes of the children of Ifrael.

20 And when he hath made an end of reconciling the holy place, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, he fhall bring the live goat:

21 And Aaron fhall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confefs over him all the iniquities of the children of Ifrael, and all their tranfgreffions in all their fins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and hall fend bim away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness.

22 And the goat fhall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land † not inhabited: and he fhall let go the goat in the wilderness.

23 And Aaron fhall come into the tabernacle of the congregation, and fhall put off the linen garments which he put on, when he went into the holy place, and fhall leave them there.

The feaft of expiation

25 And the fat of the fin-offering fhall be burn upon the altar.

26 And he that let go the goas for the fcapegoat, fhall wash his cloaths, and bathe his flef in water, and afterward come into the camp.

Heb.

27 And the bullock † for the fin-offering, and Cha the goat t for the fin-offering, whofe blood was 6.3 brought in to make atonement in the holy place, fhall one carry forth without the camp, and H they fhall burn in the fire their skins, and their flesh, and their dung.

28 And he that burneth them, fhall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he fhall come into the camp.

29 And this fhall be a ftatute for ever unto you: that in the feventh moneth, on the tenth day of the moneth, ye fhall afflict your fouls, and do no work at all,wbether it be one of your own countrey, or a ftranger that fojourneth among you.

30 For on that day fhall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanfe you, that ye may be clean from all your fins before the LORD.

31 It fhall be a fabbath of reit unto you, and ye fhall afflict your fouls by a flatute for ever.

32 And the priest whom he fhall anoint, and whom he fhall t confecrate to minifter in the + Heb prieils office in his fathers ftead, fhall make the all bie atonement, and fhall put on the linen clothes, hand. even the holy garments.

33 And he fhall make an atonement for the holy fanctuary, and he shall make an atonement for the tabernacle of the congregation, and for the altar: and he shall make an atonement for the priests, and for all the people of the congre gation.

34 And this fhall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of * Exod Ifrael, for all their tins once a year. And he did 30. 10 Heb.9. as the LORD commanded Mofes.

The blood of all flain beafts must be offered to the Lord at the door of the tabernacle. They must not offer to devils. to All eating of blood is for bidden, 15 and all that dieth alone, or is torn.

Nd the LORD fpake unto Mofes, faying,

2 Speak unto Aaron, and unto his fons,
and unto all the children of Ifrael, and lay unto
them, This is the thing which the LORD hath
commanded, faying,

3 What man foever there be of the houfe of Ifrael, that killeth an ox, or lamb, or goat in the camp, or that killeth it out of the camp,

4. And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,to offer an offering unto the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD, blood fhall be imputed unto that man: he hath shed blood, and that man fhall be cut off from among his people:

To the end that the children of Ifrael may bring their facrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation unto the prieft, and offer them for peace-offerings unto the LORD.

6 And the priests fhall fprinkle the blood upon the altar of the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and burn the fat for a* fweet favour unto the LORD.

7 And they shall no more offer their facrifices 29. 18 unto devils, alter whom they have gone a who-cap.4 ring: This thall be a flatute for ever unto them throughout their generations.

24 And he fhall wafh his flesh with water in the holy place, and put on his garments, and come forth, and offer his burnt-offering, and the 8 And thou shalt fay unto them, Whatfoeburnt-offering of the people,and make an atone-ver man there be of the houfe of Ifrael, or of the ftrangers which fojourn among you, that offereth a burnt offering, or facrifice,
