The First Sunday in Advent.
INTROIT. Ad Te, levavi.

God, I have put my trust in Thee: O let me not be confounded, neither let mine enemies triumph over me; for all they that hope in Thee shall not be ashamed. Ps. xxv. 1.

PSALM. Shew me Thy ways, O Lord and teach me Thy paths. v. 3. (VIII.)

V. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son: and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be: world without end. Amen.

INTROIT. Unto Thee, O Lord, will I lift up my soul; my God, I have put my trust in Thee: O let me not be confounded, neither let mine enemies triumph over me; for all they that hope in Thee shall not be ashamed.

This manner of repeating the Introit shall be observed throughout the year.

GRADUAL. All they that hope in Thee, O Lord: shall not be ashamed. V. Shew me Thy ways, O Lord and teach me Thy paths. P8. xxv.

INTROIT. Populus Sion.

PEOPLE of Sion, behold the Lord will come to save the nations and in the gladness of your heart the Lord shall cause His glorious voice to be heard. Is. xxx. 30.

PSALM. Hear, O Thou Shepherd of Israel: Thou that leadest Joseph like a sheep. lxxx. 1. (VII.) V. Glory be. INTROIT. O people.

GRADUAL. Out of Sion hath God appeared in perfect beauty: our God shall come, and shall not keep silence. . Gather My Saints together unto Me: those that have made a covenant with Me with sacrifice. Ps. 1.

Alleluia, alleluia. . The powers of heaven shall be shaken and then shall they see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Alleluia. Luke xxi._(v.)

OFFERTORY. Wilt Thou not turn again, O God, and quicken us; that Thy people may rejoice in Thee: shew us Thy mercy, O Lord; and grant us Thy salvation. Ps. lxxxv. (III.)

COMMUNION. O Jerusalem, look about thee towards the east and behold the joy that cometh unto thee from God. Bar. iv. (II.)

The Third Sunday in Advent.

INTROIT. Gaudete.

rejoice: let your moderation be known unto all men; the Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing but in everything by prayer: let your requests be made known unto God. Phil. iv. 4.
