OFFERINGS OF THE FLOCK-SHEEP AND GOATS.

SIN-OFFERINGS. Offerer put his hands on the head of, Lev. 4.24,29,33.

OFFERINGS.

TRESPASS-OFFERING. Offered for one who hears swearing without revealing it, or who touches uncleanness, or who is guilty in relation to an oath-a female lamb or kid as a sin-offering; or two turtle-doves or young pigeons, one as a sin-offering, one a burnt-offering; or an ephah of fine flour as a sin-offering, Lev. 5.1-14.

For sinning through ignorance in holy things additional, Lev. 5.14-16. Lev. 6.4,5, see 2 Kin. -a ram valued by the priest, with a fifth 12.16. For sinning unwittingly, or for falsehood-a ram valued by the priest, Lev. 5.17-19. Lev. 6.1-7.

OFFERINGS.

VOLUNTARY-OFFERING, either of the cattle or flock, must be perfect, Lev. 22.17-25. A peace-offering, eaten on the day of offering, or next day, Lev. 7.11-18. To be accompanied with meat and drink offerings, Num. 15.1-16. At Feast of Weeks, as God had blessed the offerer, Deu. 16.10. When vowed, must be paid, Deu. 23.23. OFFERINGS. WAVE-OFFERING, waved by the priest; that is, consecrated by waving it, Ex. 29.24. Lev. 8.27.

Consisted at consecration of priests of the fat of a ram, rump, fat covering inwards, caul above liver, two kidneys, with the fat, right shoulder of ram, with 1 loaf bread, 1 cake oiled bread, 1 wafer of unleavened bread; all waved before the Lord, and burnt on the altar of burnt-offering, Ex. 29.22-25. Lev. 8. 25-29. Lev. 9.19,20. The breast to be waved; it belonged to the priest, Ex. 29.26-28. brought by the offerer, the fat with the breast waved, the fat burned, Lev. 7.29-31. Lev. 10. 14,15.
